MY bed is so comfy! I’d better sleep fast before THEY return…
Well, I like the sound of that phrase in Latin and since mama and papa are wandering around Caesar-land, I thought it would be fun to say “thank you” in Caesar-chat, haha.
Who knew?
But I am thankful that THEY are headed back soon, even if I have to give up MY big bed and raiding the fridge…
Mama is thankful for another saying she sees on a building that’s on the route she takes to see the family in Rome, and it is this:
Nihil difficele volenti
“Nothing is difficult if you want it”, which of course implies that you want it badly enough to get it, but we like thinking about that. Maybe this is better as a spark for Monday.
Maybe we’ll use it again, haha. But we are thankful that we can want to accomplish something and then go after it.
Like adopting homeless kitties! Or keeping in touch with friends far away. We are certainly thankful for THEM, and that means YOU❤️🌺😻!
If you want it, you will work for it, but it has to be a want, not just a wish.
That’s the truth. A little work goes a long way toward achievments.
Well Loulou even when Mama and Papa return, you still have the run of the house (or bed) whenever you want to without anyone even knowing you’re there! There are lovely advantages to being an angel – Sammy told me so………
Hugs, Teddy
I know, isn’t it just wonderful to be so FREE! And healthy…
I think you’ll be happy to ‘see’ your pawrents again, soon Angel LouLou!
I’ve enjoyed all the little tours of Rome as you’ve posted them.
Oh, so glad about that and mama has more pics to come…
Oh, I hope they travel most safely and get home before you know it. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Merci, Mr T, they are very careful and stop when tired.
We are happy to be in touch with you and your folks, too, Loulou!
Merci, Ms Leah, and so glad we met!
That is a great quote and very true. XO
Well, merci, Ms E and yes, it is so true. You are the perfect example of it!
Many good things to think about LouLou !
Oui, I am thinking and thinking lately but oh, politics everywhere sometimes addles my brain….
Thank you LouLou for the Latin lesson! Learning Latin is on my bucket list but I haven’t really started yet.
Omnia gallia in tres partes divisa est is all mama knows, haha, that and pax vobiscum. Or pox vobiscum for Trump….
