Well, today and tomorrow are the start of Hanukkah. This December days are really action-packed, whatever that means. For me, of course, it means ripping up wrapping paper and eating well…
But Hanukkah is a beautiful holiday although called “lessor” in some descriptions. Personally, I think all holidays are more-ers.
( I put in a link because the history of Hanukkah is complicated, and Wiki-know-it-all can explain far better than I!
But then again, every day is a holiday for us kitties, haha. What a life.
But Happy Hanukkah to all those celebrating this special event.
thanks for the Chanukah wishes!
You are welcome! I love the holiday and significance.
Happy Hanukkah! But we agree with you, Loulou…every day is a holiday when you’re a cat.
Yep, that’s the truth.
Happy Hanukkah!
I’ve just published a cat-centered young adult novel, my first book ever. You can preview it on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082SLXJLX
If I send you a free copy of it, would you be willing to give it an honest review?Best regards,
Steve Stay
I’ll try. Send to my gmail, thank you.
Hannukah is cranking up in our neighborhood – the local temple is just around the corner and the rabbi lives downstairs and there’s lots of activity. Soon we will see vans with a menorah on top and a HUGE menorah in the park! Last year there were people of all religions who spoke as a sort of “coming together”. Of course, Mama says all Jewish people in New Orleans were reform – since seafood (shellfish, crawfish, oysters) was too good not to eat. That’s what I would be!
I wish you hadn’t named all those goodies…Mama is salivating.
Happy Hanukkah!
Yes, and lovely candles for all!
We hope everyone has a peaceful and joyous Hanukkah.
Oh, thank you. Yes, especially peaceful but joyous is nice, too. I thought I had typed ‘mice’….
