Ooh..a nice stretch on MY bed. I’m thankful for MY BED and those nice anthros who do our housework (read: mama and papa). We are also thankful for Seal and Dad with GOOD health reports.
Well, I was supposed to help mama and papa vacuum, make the bed, hang the laundry, you get the picture, right?
Especially that make the bed part…
BUT…I’m thankful for this nice soft bed. Why on earth would ANYONE want to make it different? What does make the bed mean anyway as it is already MADE. For ME.
I’m just going to lie here under mama’s nightie and relax. Housework should be put off for rainy days, right, haha?
I think I’ll just do some meditation…
Loulou, the mom says the best way I can help her with housework is to just stay out of her way. What fun is that?? ~Ernie
Ernie, you jump on that vacuum cleaner next time and have a wild ride. That’ll show her…
You do look very comfy there under your Mama’s nightdress and I’m sure nobody would DARE disturb you while you’re dreaming and napping. Housework? What’s that? Our house doesn’t do ANY WORK but my Mom sure does!
Hugs, Teddy
HAHA, if only the HOUSE did the WORK. Thats funny! We get it all done here in about 2 hours and papa is really good at vacuuming and mama is pretty quick with cleaning because she has to make lunch…the pot of gold at the end of the cleanup!
You have the beast napping spots, LouLou! How sweet of you to keep your Mama’s nightie warm until she wants it…MOL!
Like when she gets all those tiresome chores done.
Haha, yes, that’s what I’m doing…yes, you are so perceptive! Warm nightie…haha.
Beds and sleeping are the best, Loulou. Pink really suits you.
Merci, I do love that color on me, too.
That’s a pretty pink towel!! And it looks good on you!!! I sleep facing the cat picture that I started for Gina – but can’t usemy right hand – now! One looks like Loulou – ?
Oh, Mya’s maman, I’m so sorry about your creative HAND! And that’s mama’s nightie…
NO – LOL, MYA is sleeping under her picture!!!
Oh, so cute. Oh, Mya, we miss you three!
You look comfy. I was happy to read about Seal and their Dad. XO
Yes, a lovely story and made us so happy.
My Aunt Marion had several household hints. One was : you don’t have to make the bed if you just pull the spread all the way up. 2) You can tell how long it’s been since washday by counting the littlle wads of socks under the bed and dividing by two.
Your Aunt Marion must have been French (or continental). The making of a bed in France is simply to pull everything up over the pillows and voilà and we’ll put that socks thing into motion next time, haha. Not many socks around here because it’s so warm now. What drives mama mad is when a sock falls BEHIND THE WASHER and she has to get out her fishing pole….
The life of a housecat is pretty fine, isn’t it, Loulou!
Oh, we are so spoiled…the word in French is gâter and sounds like gatto in Italian, haha, which means cat!
Pretty in pink today LouLou! Enjoy your meditation, I think that is a very good idea, let the Anthros work and sweat keeping your house in order – MOL!
Yes, they really don’t need my help anyway…I tell them I don’t know how to iron…
Your blanket is artfully draped around you. Excellent pose. I give mew a two declaws up! Love, Dori
Oh, merci for the two claws up, Wonderpurr and thanks for your visit.
It’s always good to see you, Loulou. It’s good that mom makes sure you’re as comfortable as you can be.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
Oh, yes, she put that crazy nightie on me and I just went with it…zzzzz.
I really don’t think you could get more comfy Loulou, enjoy, housework can wait! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I could offer to wash the dinner plates…
