Lest we forget.
A cardinal effort to remember and maintain in these very strange times.

We are publishing these words today after having heard that the Los Angeles Times owner is moving ever more closely to the world of Donard Trump.
Mama is aware that politics are often not welcome in sweet blogs from the network of anthros who have become meaningful friends over the years.
Human rights are universal and awareness of what those are is needed more than ever in a world electing leaders who only suppress and infringe on human rights.
We’ll try to stick to positive and uplifting subjects in the New Year.
But it is very difficult to stay wordless in this war-torn world.
And — there is Syria! Our hearts go out to Syrians everywhere hoping to find their lost relatives and friends, now freed from oppression and denied hunan rights for so many years.

I pray freedom will continue to ring and to spread to everyone.
Well, it’s not likely with the most dangerous man on earth about to be in charge!
Freedom of expression is one of our rights – at least it is for now (!!) – and it’s your blog so speak about what you need/want to speak about. Everyone feels things in their heart and may not voice them but they are still THERE. What I really want to say is that is the plumpest Cardinal I’ve ever seen….a real beauty – I’ve always wanted to do a painting of cardinals in the snow…..
Hugs, Pam
DO IT, DO IT…what a great idea, Teddy’s mama, get those paints out NOW!
What a gorgeous cardinal, Loulou. Treat people and animals the way you would like to be treated, there is my religion right there.
Ours, too, and mama grew up with that golden rule. Her mama taught it to her kids early on and it is the way mama lives hers and her brother lived his. Such a kind brother…
Beautiful cardinal. We have a few at our feeders. I saw on the news about how awful people were treated and I am glad they are free. XO
Yes, after so many years. How do these cruel anthros grow up that way? But Assad is GONE!@
Cardinals are so, so beautiful! Glad you got the commenting thing working properly!

Yes, once again Ms. Richardson nails it. I was too young to actually be sware of the forming of the United Nations, but I have read about that period of history and feel it is an important one to remember.
Oui, Heather Cox is so thorough in her research and yes, we must be United Nations right now as oligarchs take over. Meloni is a snake in the grass. And no words needed for T.
