Dreaming of joy…
Wouldn’t that be nice, to have the whole world feeling positive for a change. Ah, well, one can dream, but maybe if we just think good thoughts and try to smile often for the rest of this year, things will be helped along.
I, for one, am on my best behavior for the big guy in red. I need a new nip nana.
Plus it’s sort of nice that our present-giving has been pared down to no gifts for adults, only for the kids, who have plenty anyway but what the heck. A few little things, soccer socks, sticker books, a pair of glitter tights — and dinner together with Italian bingo (Tombola) and silly prizes, what’s not to like?
Funny how Christmas has become so commercial, but then, shops have to make a living, too, and stores are staying open here through Sunday and all day on the 24th! It was never like that in the past, mama says.
I’m pretty easy—a nip ‘nana and a few cuddles is all I require to be in seventh heaven, wherever that is. And mama says that all she wants is for the homeless to find shelter and food and feel that they are not forgotten. There are so many on the streets of Rome now, and everywhere. Holidays must be really tough for those with no families, animals included.
Maybe a little kitty or doggy under the tree will bring joy to many…
Just give me an old tennis ball to rabbit kick, and life is complete!

Mama’s AOL has somehow removed her bcc for emails, so if you see a card from us with a gazillion email addresses on it, FORGIVE US. Mama is adamant about not putting a gazillion email addresses on what should have been a private card for each. So sorry about that so I guess today is the day we call AOL and hope someone is there! Such a bore. If you know how to get our bcc back, please advise!
Thank goodness for nip nanners and cuddles and a warm home with plenty of food and attention! You and I are indeed lucky Tuxies, that’s for sure! Merry Christmas! Patzy
Well, it’s true but now THEY are going to put me on a BOAT.
Wishing your entire furmily a beautiful and blessed Christmas!
LOVELY, Caren. Love to all of you and a healthy New Year.
AHA, you love to cook! Quel gateau! Num num…pleine d’energie pour les gilets!
Lucky YOU, Loulou – at the rate we’re going here, I’ll probably get a sock full of raw carrot sticks. Papa says I have too many toys. Mama says I need to lose a kilo – and Auntie Maria not coming!!! She ALWAYS brings me good stuff. But they did take me to the restaurant yesterday and they BOTH sneaked me little pieces of meat under the table. Maybe Papa and I will go out Christmas day and hand out euros to the poor who are on the streets. And then I’ll (maybe) get extra kibbles……
Let’s help the poor on the street while we have coins in our pockets.
The big idea is to remove cash in order to fight fraud.
The big fraudsters will always find a way to pursue their “combines”.
Many here in Rome give to the homeless.
I hope you get that nip nanner 🙂
I think mama is thinking of stuffing a real banana skin with nip, haha. Just kidding, but she’s still waiting for the delivery….
Your poor mama. We hope she got some help from aol. BCC is such an important part of email, isn’t it.
We are sad for all the homeless in the world.
Well, one of our sweetest friends here in Rome is Emelia…on the streets all her life and such an interesting anthro. Full of phisosophy. Her home is on the church steps of a side door of the church and all her belongings are stacked there. No one bothers them, EVER. She knows every handsome businessman in the neighborhood.
We purray you get your nanner LouLou. We know you’ll get purrlenty of cuddles. As fur that cc and bc, sometimes it’s just hidden. There’s a little arrow that points down and once your mommy clicks it, it should open those spaces. We don’t know ’bout aol, but yahoo sometimes does the same thing. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Well, mama apologizes for all those dumb email addresses that she let out into the world on MY card. Thank you for the info, but this AOL on Mac is all over the map and no arrow!!! Will check out other sites to solve this.
We hope you get lots of nip and cuddles and give some too !
Oh, I cuddle all day long, just knowing that the guy in red is WATCHING me.
We hope Santa hears you and brings you a new nip nana, and that your mama’s wish comes true. Purrs
Merci, Swiss Kitties. I hope your holidays are merry and bright land maybe, white!
You are right. “Christmas has become so-o commercial.” It makes Dad’s eyes twitch when stores put out the Christmas decorations as early as July! Mom remembers when stores were never open on Sundays or on the eve of a holiday. I hope Santa Claws brings you a new nanner, Loulou. I wish for that for you and a safe, healthy and joyful new year for you and your momma and papa.
Oh, thank you, Valentine. And for you, too.
