Can too much nip give you brain damage?
Well, duh, I just realized as I was writing my blog that I can’t possibly say anything about the expo until IT HAS EXPOSED ITSELF!!! DUH.
And the opening is tonight, so I won’t be able to report until tomorrow after all the dust has settled.
But let us just say that the president of Chat Bleu, an animal preservation organization in this part of the world, come by to say hello and actually wanted to BUY something, but she chose a cat drawing that papa and mama want to keep, called Peaceable Kingdom. Will take a photo tonight, or rather, mama will help me out there, and I’ll post it tomorrow. I must say the kitty in the drawing strongly resembles someone I know. In fact, someone I live with daily!
But the action of the kitty has zilch to do with me, bird-phobic as I am, haha. So be patient, dear readers, and all will be revealed tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I’m taking advantage of being ALONE with papa and being free to roam in our sunlit garden because the rain prediction didn’t pan out. YAY! I’m off to my favourite spot!
OH, and HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO, OLE!
You leave us in suspense. I can’t wait to hear what you have to reveal. That human has grr-eat taste to want to take home a drawing of you! Winky winks.
Well, mama will have to photograph it tomorrow because she hasn’t downloaded it yet from her camera. But it’s fun drawing that I think you’ll like. Just one more day!
wow, Loulou – you should have been there!!! It was so much fun – at least the peeps were laughing – and dancing to accordion music and people were oohing and ahhing over OUR portraits!! Well someone did bring in a little dog that looked sorta like me – and I tried to bite him. Harrumph. Mama got a bit miffed at me. And took a picture of me with my MEAN look. Maybe I won’t do that again. ANYWAY – my little friend Mignonne who j’ADORE and spent a month up the street just celebrated her Cinco de Mayo 17th birthday in Provence!!! Her mama made guacamole and margaritas for the celebration. I told her your mama made FABulous guacamole so we celebrated her birthday last night too. Mama mumbling something like the margaritas would have been really nice, but it slipped her mind. Probably a LOT would have slipped her mind if they’d had margaritas, teehee……………
WHY DIDN”T MAMA THINK TO MAKE MARGARITAS FOR THE SHOW? Darn. But I understand mama ate half her guacamole leaving none for the guests, haha. Just kidding. Mama was very happy when she got home and then DROPPED.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
OLE!!!
look at YOU having fun outside!!!!! Can’t wait to read about the show!
your mama almost made a sale before the expo opened. how exciting!
Well, we did sell two and that was nice. I say “we” because I was the model for one of them.
Wow LouLou ! Head down in the nip and then springing, gazelle-like, over the fence ! Brava !
Oh, things get away from me sometimes….it’s spring fever I think. But I don’t go over the fence, only TO the fence…
