You see, THEY went away and left me with this OTHER Loulou, to whom I say good morning each day after having had my breakfast and deciding to move on upstairs to the lying-down place. But even now that they are back, I STILL say hello to my friend and sometimes, as in this morning, I even go up the stairs and try to look BEHIND that Loulou to see where its BODY is!!!
At least I had company after having been abandoned.
At least I had company that resembled ME so that I could complain to myself more easily, haha.
Plus, I really love my portrait, even if it doesn’t myow.
I know, I know, it’s ‘meow’ but I happen to like ‘myow’ better.
Hey, alter-Loulou, did you happen to notice that there is yet ANOTHER WE in the same corner. Maybe tomorrow I’ll put a little effort into talking to the alter-Loulou with a BODY.
Meanwhile, THEY are talking so often and so long to me that I can’t get any REST!!!
COULD YOU GUYS LAY OFF THE SNUGGLES FOR JUST A $%#*%$@% MINUTE?
At least that other Loulou won’t try to steal your foods, Loulou.
Hey, that’s true. She won’t need many calories, that’s for sure.
Bonjour Loulou – I’m so happy you say good morning and good night to yourself on the wall!! I have portraits TOO!! Does this mean we are aristocracy? I even have a portrait in the dining room with BOTH of us with Bacchus, hoping he will share his wine with us. And I have a drawing of myself over my Personal Space with all my Ikea friends and my cushion that mama is looking for a fancy frame for in the flea market. EEK! Did I just say FLEA market?! I think that all means we are pampered princesses. Sounds royal to me. Except for the flea part……..
Oh, you must FLEE from the FLEAs, haha. Yes, we are pampered by having real portraits. And we LOVE ours!!!
Aw, Loulou, you know you love having them home! Just revel in the luxury of 24/7 pets and cuddles. And when they try to sleep, wake them up to share more time with them. They’ll love that! 🙂
A brilliant idea, Funnies, you always have the best advice!
Meow or Myow- there are of course regional differences in pronounciation !
Both your doppelgangers are lovely – I often speak to the pictures hanging about my house too – many of them are ancestors.
Oh, how mama would LOVE to see those. In an email, maybe? She has her grandma hanging on the wall and yes, she talks to her sometimes. Not repeatable sometimes, haha. Her nonna was…er…formidable, whatever that means.
