Mana is a sucker for puns…
Well, that may be a stretch for a title of a blog, but this man is proving daily that tree’s not a crowd, haha. And mama LOVED the name of his business!
This is in place of the video I cannot seem to get into my blog (from a WhatsApp film taken by my stepbrother) of wild pigs crossing the road as he and his family drove through Sicily. They were BIG, not like the usual cinghiali that frequent the roads of Italy lately, searching for food This video is from National Geographic and shows many more piggies than mama’s stepson saw! And some had white stripes under their bellies, which made mama think that they may have been distant relatives of the Gloucester Old Spots in the UK.
Hey, piggies can fly, right?
I’ll have to ponder that one…
There’s a tree service around here that’s known for rescuing cats from trees and other high places. Fortunately, I’ve never tried climbing a tree…only my cat tree! ~Ernie
Well, thank heaven for that! Keep up the low climbs!
What a lovely man, making sure that kitties who wander up trees are brought down safely. And so many cute piggies crossing the road. Too sweet, Loulou.
But they might end up bacon…oops, sorry.
That tree climber is pawsome. My Dad rescued Angel Sammy from a tree when he was little – a dog was wandering through the neighborhood and chased him so he climbed a tree so far he didn’t know how to get down. Dad got a big ladder and got Sammy and stuffed him in his coat and got him down. Dad says he’s too old for that now but I bet if I got stuck he’d help me! Dads do that! Wild pigs? EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, what a DAD!
I’ve heard that – but don’t think so, LOL! Watched the video – but Mamma freaked out last night during our walk – airplanes landing every 5 minutes!!! Hope they aren’t staying here! We won’t be going out except for dog walks through the month of August!!!
Maybe you’ll run into some feral pigs from up in the hills, haha.
That tree climber human is a real hero!
Isn’t he just wonderful?
My torbie Peaches was rescued by a guy from a tree service. She was 80 feet up a tree when one of the people walking their dog heard her hollering. It was January 2013 and cold, so the lady called everyone she could think of : fire, police, SPCA, animal control. No one could help. So she called the local paper. The story appeared on Saturday – the day before had been blizzard conditions – and the tree guy s(and I ) saw the story. By the time I arrived to see if I could help he had brought her down. The lady couldn’t keep her – her husband was allergic – so I took her. She turned out to be – not exactly feral but not a house cat, so I ended up keeping her. She lost half of one ear to frostbite but was otherwise ok after 3 days total up that tree. So I definitely bless these guys !
Oh, Mary, what a sweet ending and I’m so glad for you that someone rescued Peaches. We kitties sometimes overdo our tree climbing, that’s for sure. But those trees are so…tempting!
Pigs can fly when many people do I guess. Although everything seems to be going by boat and taking months right now!!
Things I forget I ordered turn up 3 months later – such a nice surprise!!
