Blue is for sadness. I send condolences to the families and friends of those on the Germanwings flight that crashed.
Well, they arrived safely at wherever it is they were headed but only after a SIX hour layover in NEWARK and then a plane that sort of vibrated funny but was okay but mama was on edge anyway because of that very sad and terrible crash over the Alps. That particular plane took off from Barcelona, which is where mama and papa were taking off from just half an hour earlier, but in the opposite direction. Our hearts go out to those families and their unimaginable tragedy. It really shocks the world when something like that happens because flying is one of the safest travel means one can use.
Now, to all of you who always leave such nice comments, I am apologizing for my very bad behaviour at not getting your comments answered on the proper day, the day you send them, and so you probably thought I was ignoring you, but I wasn’t. I was just being a bit petulant (no pun intended, haha) because of being abandoned yet again even though I am left with one of my favourite friends and she lets me boogie whenever I want and snuggles me constantly. But on WordPress I have to ‘approve’ a comment and then ‘reply’ and frankly, I was just out of touch. Desolee! (Maybe one of these days I’ll get French punctuation symbols on my WordPress! There must be a program that does that.) So there’s an accent over that next to last e in case you’re wondering. I just accidently wrote ‘wonderful’ instead of ‘wondering’ so you see that that was a Freudian slip for all of you wonderful readers out there!
Still…I’m abandoned so didn’t write.
I’m going to get some info soon from the TRAVELERS (you know who I mean) today and I’ll clue you in on what’s happening in that Keep Austin Weird city where they are for a few days. It’s a happenin’ town, by all reports and kitties are treated better THERE than SOME kitties who are left to fend for themselves (well…a little) and like SOME kitties I know.
But I’m glad they are safe and sound, wherever they are, and have on their list to visit the famous food trucks of that illustrious ville.
They speak a lot of Spanish there–you know, Texas was Mexico not too long ago–so I’ll just say hasta la vista, baby for now.
That’s me waving with my back patte (paw).
Yep, not only are you giving them the paw of disdain, but you’re showing the back of disrespect as well. π
Well, I guess you could put it that way.
A sad blue sky Loulou, it’s awful, they are now saying that the Co-pilot deliberately shut the Captain out of the cabin and sent the plane down himself.
Glad your Mama & Papa arrived safely.
Patte is French for paw? Aaaaaah, the ape likes words for paws. Her last favourite was “patas” which is Spanish apparently.
Yay paws everywhere!
The ape here loves words for paw, too, and thank you for patas. They are all related from ‘pede’ in Latin and hence, “feet” so I guess we kitties have feet, haha.
Giving them the paw of disdain, huh, Loulou? We’re glad they are safe and sound wherever too.
That is sad about the plane crash. *heads bowed* π
Yes, it was a shock and I like that, the paw of disdain.
