Whoa! That is one HUGE lemon. We bet you only need that one to make a whole pitcher of lemonade.
It would indeed make a whole pitcher, but we gave it away to a lemon-loving doctor who is making mama’s knee better.
Awwww, Loulou – that’s not a lemon – it’s a PUMPKIN yo momma painted yellow. Right? No? It’s a real lemon? You are either laughing or waiting on lemonade in that first shot!!! Mama is looking at that gargantuan lemon and thinking………Limoncelloooooooooo!!!!!!!!! And those beautiful roses from the garden and your mama’s fabulous smile (as well as YOURS) makes a beautiful shot!!!! Life is beautiful.
Hey, Mya, if you knock off a few lemons, we can CHASE them until the cherry tomatoes grow, okay?
Holy cats! That’s a BIG lemon! Mommy loves drinking lemon water in the morning, and this would last her, like, forever!
Actually, it probably would! We were awed by this baby and gave it to our doctor who is Arab and makes preserved lemons that are mind-blowing, which he uses in tagine.
That is the biggest lemon ever, it must be a world’s record!
Well, it’s pretty big but I think there is one up in the tree that matches it!!! We just can’t get it down yet.
are you serious!!!??? Is that a REAL LEMON!! OMC!!!!! I am going to link to my main email so you can respond, instead of the Cat Chat one……also….you and I BOTH know Dr.Corey!! She works at the Vet that i go to!
Love your Cat Chat and of course it dawned on me that chat is cat in French and so it’s an especially clever name for your blog. Now on to Dr. Corey…..why do I know her?
Wow! That is one big lemon.
It’s over 2 pounds!!! Papa wanted to call the newspaper but we gave it away to my knee doc who ADORES lemons.
My goodness – that looks like a GOURD ! What did your Mama do to be able to grow such a monstrous lemon ?
Well, mama hugs our lemon tree and talks to it and our compost pile is right next to it so that may help…but of course, twice a year spring and fall, DRUGS. Just kidding. Mama uses citrus food that is organic and it’s a great help. Little granules that you spread far out from the tree because the roots spread and then water well. She tries to put it out before a rain. Much better.
