Domenico Lucano and friends
Mama just realized that Friday passed by without a sound from anywhere, or at least no sound from her papers, TV news or even her brain, for heaven’s sake.
9/11
Yes, Friday was September 11.
Perhaps it is best we do not dwell on it when we are trying so hard to welcome those who are oppressed by the people who instigated the 9/11 events.
Perhaps it is best we dwell on the little town of Riace where the mayor decided to open his doors to immigrants and save his dying town, homes abandoned, inhabitants moved to bigger cities.
What a wonderful man! I’ll bet there are kitties there, too, that he has taken in. He also finds work for everyone, big or small jobs, but jobs.
Hats off to Domenico Lucano.
Happy stories, for a change.
GRAZIE, Domenico!
Another GRAZIE to all of you who have signed up to read my views on the world’s condition. It’s certainly a world to have views about!
And I’ll bet the world has a view or two of ME, haha, silly, wacko kitty that I am.
Yay for Domenico Lucano! We wish there were more humans like him.
Domenico Lucano, we salute you! What a wonderful chap he is.
Isn’t that the kindest thing you’ve heard so far? Lucky town to have such enterprising folk join their ranks. And boy, will they eat well!!!
