Well, perhaps you remember little Floss, the cutie-pootie hamster of mama’s stepgrandchild, Marghe. But if not, Floss was somebody! Ate litte hamster treats at a tiny picnic table, was cuddled and adored by all.
His time was up a couple of weeks ago, so we are paying tribute to the darling.
I never met this little sweetie.
(Maybe that’s a good thing)
But we are so sorry, Marghe, for your loss and perhaps there will be another companion in your future.
I miss him, too, even if we didn’t meet. It is always sad to lose a friend…
BUT…I think I will be gaining two friends this afternoon…mama and papa YAY!
So sorry of the loss of Little Floss, LouLou😿 Fly free beautiful Soul✨ Soft Pawkisses for Marghe and one Extra just for you, sweet LouLou🐾😽💞
Oh, merci, and I will tell our little Marghe you sent this. You have had such a loss this year, a loss to us all….
Awww, little Floss was such a cutie. I’m so sorry Marghe and Loulou.
Well, Marghe has taken it very well, and there may be another little creature in her future.
I am so sorry to hear about Floss. Purrs of comfort to Marghe who is missing her little friend.
Well merci for those sweet words and Marghe is doing well about the whole event, which was quite sad.
Awww….well I’m sure little Floss is in “Hammie Heaven” now – she sure was a cutie. I also know that you are getting your Mama and Papa back today Loulou and I foresee some EPIC tummy rubs and hugs coming your way!
Love, Teddy
Well, little Floss was a “he” but I didn’t know either until fairly late in the game…and THEY ARE BACK!!! I will relate all in my blog today.
I am so sorry that Marghe lost her little companion.
I made a memento for her and put it in an email, if you would be soo kind as to forward it to her. I hope she likes it.
By now you, LouLou should be rejoicing at the arrival of your very own pawrents!
Hope all is well, and that everyone is glad to be home once again.
You are so incredibly kind to have done this! I am sending it to Marghe right now!
Little Floss, such a little one, but with so huge a soul and heart… even tho many of us did not know him, we feel so much love for him.. and his family who misses him so much. We join with you in loving prayers for precious Floss… you are being carried on those Angels’ wings, little one… God bless…
Oh, grazie, Carol. I am sending all of these lovely thoughts to Marghe.
Floss was a very special little creature, and Marghe was such a good mama for him. Merci for your thoughts.
That is sad. They have such short lives. XO
It is true, short-lived, these little hamsters. But such a good time during his life.
That’s very sad and we send love and hugs to those that miss that little sweetie.
Everything that we love becomes a part of us; our atoms actually mingle, in a deep scientific level.
When someone is no longer there, our entire being is missing, until we slowly evolve without that someone.
I recommend “A Cat Named Darwin” by William Jordan; reading this book has helped me deal with the loss of loved ones.
Oh, Ms Vicky, mama’s little step-grandchild was so touched by these comments from all of you, and you are so right about our atoms mingling. Mama and papa just lost two dear long-time friends and they both feel a big space where Judy and Anne used to be, but the atoms are still there, forever.
Yes, it is always sad to lose a friend – or to see a friend lose a friend. We knoiw little animals like Floss live short lives compared to thir humans but no matter how long you are together, it is never long enough.
We hope Mama and Papa arrive safely and soon !
THEY ARE HERE! Merci for your kind thoughts and yes, their little lives are so brief, especially hamsters…but he lived a good one!
