Everyone is saying, gee, why doesn’t the EU do more for the boat people and patrol the open seas in a better way to save lives and why doesn’t the EU organize aid groups for immigrants, but wait a minute!!! Why don’t their countries shape up and provide jobs and homes and a decent life for their citizens so that they will not have to leave to save themselves and their families from persecution, poverty and often death?

The Italians paid billions to Khadafi to control his borders and not allow immigrants to leave for Europe, but we all know who Khadafi was and that his subjects lived with fear and intimidation as a daily diet.

Now it is the Italians who are saving many of the immigrants on dangerously overcrowded boats, but at least they are doing something to stem the death rate on the seas.

The countries that these poor, desperate people are attempting to leave behind are mostly run by rulers who own mulitple dwellings, have unknown bank accounts filled with millions of dollars and who care not a farthing for their citizens.

Abominable. Crimes against humanity. So why are we not putting pressure on these countries to come to the aid of their inhabitants instead of filling the pockets of their corrupt leaders with more and more gold?

The popular phrase “God helps those who helps themselves” appears to apply to many African leaders in the sense that they continue to help themselves to anything they wish instead of helping their citizens to become autonomous.  One cannot help oneself in those circumstances without the means to begin.

I’m sending members from Kitties to Control Corruption to put these evil rulers on a black list. I’m also sending delegates from Flagrant Fleas to invade and infest their multiple villas. Then we’lll see…
