We are thinking a lot today about Martin Luther King, a hero who fought for equality and fought like no other. Heather Cox Richardson said today that some heroes, like Reverand King, stand for truth, equality and freedom, and some sit down, like Rosa Parks.
Our spark today is this: Whatever you can do against the oppression of freedom and equality–stand, sit, run, walk, write, speak, sing, shout out against the perpetrators as soon as possible.
Practice makes perfect.
This is a fateful day.
May we stand together against lies, and instead stand for truth, liberty, and equlity for all.
Reach out and touch someone, I aways say…
For me, the best weapon is prayer. I truly believe The A-mighty wants all of us to love and serve one another with kindness, compassion and respect in everything we do.
I’m sure it helps along with many other solutions from very wise people gearing up to fight this bully.
Martin Luther King was a great man, Loulou. I love your spark.
Merci, Ms Militza. I hope South Africa is in better shape thatn the USA right now.
We need more MLK, Jrs. these days.
Do we ever!!! And now the Proud Boys are out of prison….
So good to post in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, and great spark, Loulou!
Merci, Ms Leah, such an amazing huma being, Reverend King.
MLK has always been an inspiration for those who seek the light…….there will always be those on the other side who prefer living on the edge of darkness and uncertainty. Human nature is often impossible to figure out. We just have to keep hope in our hearts…………..
Hugs, Pam
We are going to need a lot of that.
A man of our heart, sweet Angel LouLou
Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day

Oui, one of history’s most effective, kind and wise men.
Amen, Miss Loulou. I read “Letter From Birmingham Jail” for the first time. It was very powerful and gave me hope.
Mama is reading it, merci to you. Merci for the visit!
Excellent spark. XO
Merci, Ms Ellen. And oh, those kitties yesterday….wish we could meet them.

Brian’s Home
Oui, amazing and kind and big-hearted and magnanimous. A brilliant example for so many.
Amen LouLou !
Brilliant man. Never to be forgotten.
Today starts a beautiful day of truth, liberty and equality. I’m doing the happy dance.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
It’s so odd that 1/2 of the population believes we’ve grown far from the hatred that was prevalent in MLK’s world, but the other half wants things to be the same as when the man was murdered.
Humans are so stupid.
Are they ever! And the one thing that mama does not give an INCH to is a BULLY who insists he or she be obeyed or be punished. To withdraw from the climate meeting in Paris is unforgivable!!To free 1200 rioters is unforgivable. To say STILL that the election of Biden was STOLEN is idiotic.
