This is Floating from Lunapic. I felt like a little float would do be right for today. Plus, I match the Dr Seuss sign, haha
Dr Seuss makes good brain juice!
Dr Seuss could tame a moose!
Dr Seuss sets good things loose!
Thank you, Cat Blogosphere for this tribute poster to Dr Seuss!
What a lovely Lunapic, Loulou. Love Dr Seuss books – so wacky and fun.
Merci, Miliza. We are a bit wacky around here always…
You are so cute, Loulou, straight up or artified!
Merci, Eastsides…love your words.
Oh, We love your art, LouLou!
LOONPIC…uh, Lunapic to the rescue yet again.
Dr. Seuss would love your poem, Loulou!
Oh, I hope so. We and our kiddoes loved his books so.
Perfect! Love that filter from Lunapic but also love sweet Loulou in the middle of it……Staying “loose as a goose” is something I’m definitely in favor of!
Hugs, Teddy
UH…I have never seen a goose, I just reazized….maybe one day, somewhere….
😎 Cool art for Dr. Seuss Day! I’ve Enjoyed your post about it today, and all the others. Wasn’t able to do one for it myself! You look very cute in both pictures, Loulou!
Merci, Ms Leah, we love making poetry, it makes our brains exercise, haha.
Cute poem and beautiful art. XO
Merci, Ms E. I am taking it a bit easy after that effort…
LouLou, kids DO still read Dr. Seuss ! And lots of other wonderful authors too – like Beverly Cleary who wrote “Socks” and many other good books too…and so many more I can’t begin to list !
We will look at those…mama love book of any kind and knows some youngsters who might like them.
Dr Seuss! He sure knew a lot about how to capture kids imaginations and not a few adults as well! We have most if not all, of his books, and our sons loved them too!
That IS a nice ‘floaty’ artwork!
Merci, doggies, and yes, kids learned so much from him. Wish today’s kids read his books…do they?
Probably, but some of the more complex ones have been ‘banned’ because a few thought they were ‘racist’…really?? Sheesh!
I think Mulberry Street was one of them.
Oh, please, give us a break!
I know, ts so silly. And it deprives kids of such wonderful books to read.
I read books in my childhood, that were wonderful and now you can’t even find a used copy anywhere, they were banned years ago, because they depicted black children. The one I remember was called Little Black Sambo. It was a cute story. Racist wasn’t even thought of by me or anyone else I knew back then. Those stories were so sweet…and now they too are gone.
I don’t think you can even get the story books that taught kids how to read called the Dick and Jane series.
PHOOEY!
I remember those books well, and now kids are so precocious that they know that racism is terrible and of course, kids play together without any sense of color. It’s adults who poison the well….
