Well, they have wine, olives and potato chips in common…that’s a good start, haha.
Well, I truly believe that and what mama and papa did some of this day of love was tell one another how many things they have in common (like ME) and how nice that is and often makes life a bit easier because you don’t have to argue every little point and can get on with bigger fish to fry.
I like that part…
So they did NOT go out to lunch to a new place they discovered recently but instead both decided to work on some things that needed attention and put the Valentine’s and anniversary lunch off until next week when they will be in one of their favorite places, Aix-en-Provence, and just celebrate there.
But it was nice they agreed. Otherwise they might have gone out and left me here to forage for myself on Valentine’s Day, of all days, when they’re supposed to be snuggling and petting me and telling me what a sweet little Valentine I am, right?
So I thought I’d give them a Valentine, which is a really nice website on the origin of Valentine’s Day, and I hope you’ll go there and see how it all started, this day of luv…..make that love, but sometimes when you write ‘luv’, and sort of draw out the letters, it sounds more lovey dovey, right?
So here’s the website.
What on earth did we all do before the internet?
Now that’s something to reflect upon. Remember pencils and paper? Remember Selectric typewriters? Oh, boy…
Speaking of which, here’s a funny for your Valentine smile. Mama loves this video because it’s close to home….
Love to all and continued loving long after today
I just gave my mouse a BIGGGGG kiss….
Loulou…you look like you’re gonna give your mousie a big bite! 🙂
How could you tell, heh, heh…?
It’s great your mom and dad have each other — and you!
Yes, especially ME.
Glad your folks had a nice Valentine’s Day! You look so cute hugging your mousie.
Yeah, and I have that Ikea one, too, that every cat on earth seems to have! Thank you.
Sweet loves to your Mama and Papa and you, Loulou! And spending the day with you is wonderful any day!
Tell Mama and Papa to have a nice day next week, and bring back something good for you!
Hey, I’ll bet there are nice things in Nice!!
