La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la la, LAH LAH LAAAAAAAH! (Barber of Seville, I think)
Well, mama fell in love with this lovely song she heard in her exercise class, and she asked me to share it with you so that you could get teary, too, haha. Mama is a sucker for voices like these – she and papa would always cry over Pavarotti’s THREE high Cs in The Daughter of the Regiment. NOW HEAR THIS: before you open Pavarotti’s magic, plan to go to the END of the video, stopping about 1 1/2 inches from the right. Does that make sense? And you’ll hear the part that will knock you off your perch! But mama says that Bocelli’s voice has matured beautifully and even brings to mind Signore Pavarotti.
Even I was impressed with his brilliant high ‘cs’. Of course, we kitties DO have a few singers of our own, especially at night during…er…certain seasons. But for pure joy and brilliance, Pavarotti was king.
Just practicing…I only on the first ‘c’.
Well I be you are an opera princess and would sell out any stage, Loulou. Sometimes I sing to the neighbor kitty out my door, but she just walks away. It kind of makes me sad.
Keep singin’ is my motto. Someone will hear and answer.
Loulou, we clicked on the link to play the song but stupid Youtube has to play commercials first. We hate that! Anyway, the mom realized she has heard this song and thinks it is beautiful, too. Though she loves Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli both.
I know, I know I HATE those first commercials but there are EVERYWHERE on YOUTUBE. Merde.
ahhhhh – BELLISSIMA!!!!!!! Mama watched – and listened – 3 times!! A beautiful wake-up video. Well, it was nice, but personally, I like the beagle playing the piano and hitting those high notes. Mama scrunching up her eyebrows…….but YOU Loulou, look ready to hit that high C and make great background music for those dudes!!!
Well, we are all in love with that song. So uplifting and lovely. They should sing it to ME and YOU, Mya.
Oh, they weren’t singing to us!!??
Oh, you funny doggy. I should have thought of that. OF COURSE they were!
We’ve heard that before but Jan listened to it twice more anyway. Love the voices!!!!
A little sunshine through the internet…
Sing it, Loulou !
AOOOOROOOLLLLLL…..La la la.
