Love is all I need.
Well, this just about says it all. Amazing kids, voices, instruments. I just can’t do better than this today, and thanks again to my aunty in Sonoma. Love from Loulou and family.
And for any music lover as old as mama, haha, this will also really brighten your day.
Mama says that Robbie Robertson seems older…DUH, mama. Have you checked out a mirror lately?
Is it just mama who still sees her friends as around 30?
Well, no harm done. Hope springs eternal, mama, but I am going to keep you AND papa young.
At heart, anyway.
Okay, ready? A one and a two and…
Mama LOVED The Weight!! Guess she’s OLD – but guess I am too in dog years! Loulou, we are so lucky to be so loved – cuddles and kibbles and play time. And those necessary walks – what else does one really need!?
Love, love, love is all you need!
That was a fun video, it made us smile Loulou!
Well, those kids could really get it on with voices out of this world.
I’m 50, but I still think of myself as younger. 🙂
Well, Ellen, in mama’s opinion you’re a teenager!
Hi Loulou!
I looked at the video and it did brighten up my day!I play that song on the ukulele and it was fun to see all of the instruments being played all around the world.
I think Ringo is looking great! Lean and a great smile too.
Take good care and know that my heart is always with you and your mama & papa.
Bisous x x x x x
Well mama says that you and she knew all those guys but “we were only in nursery school” mama says.
Those links were both wonderful, LouLou !
“The Weight” is one of the songs on a mix CD I keep in my car.
(Don’t tell Mama, but Robbby Robertson is the only one of the original group that is still alive. There is a documentary out on him and The Band now.)
We won’t go there, okay?
