Mama, are you really going to get a peacock? Uh, oh…worse than a rooster for snoozing kitties!
Well, this is a delightful story to lift your spirits, or your feathers, haha.
My aunty in Sonoma sent this one, and we are wishing that sea gulls had the same effect on us during this troubling time since that’s about all we have and they are NOT affectionate. We didn’t know all of these lovey characteristics of peacocks but mama is wondering Amazon could deliver one, haha.
Spreading joy, this sweet and beautiful birdie!
Along with Mya’s maman, who painted this Rousseau to include Mya and me, and it has the lovely colors, too, of a peacock! The kitty upstairs who lost his eye now has his eye back in place, thank you for being concerned.
Please stay well and let’s get over this very difficult time. We kitties have few problems, and we can hold the fort for our anthros and provide top notch snuggle time (now that we don’t have that Oscar in the garden!)
Loulou, we could never have had Oscar here with you! There is only one Loulou…
That’s a beautiful painting, LouLou. Granny has a book about dreams with the same picture…well… it’s a picture of a dream, isn’t it😸Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday🐾😽💞
Oh, the artist is so, so good and so talented.
Peacocks are so pretty…though we don’t think we’d like to live with one. 🙂 Thanks for sharing our Peace Globe!
Well, thank you for reminding us to put the news out.
That is a really nice painting and yes we need to help our Anthros to get through this
Oh, do we help or what? I’m working at it all day long.
What a fabulous painting! My Mom just loves it – and the peacock story was fun; my Mom says she’s heard those peacocks scream and would NOT want to have one for a neighbor. Hope you all are well and happy dear Loulou!
Love, Teddy <3
Yes, the screeching would be a problem, especially for ME with my good ears…Like the feathers, though.
ABSOLUTELY – More love and less hate!!!! And Mamma just found the newsletters among the articles about Biden and Trump. Loulou – you know who I’m pushing for – Mamma told me that one doesn’t like animals. It’s close and Mamma’s getting nervous – Fingers and toes and paws crossed!!!! And the kitty who lost his eye is doing fine – as of yesterday – have to ask today…….
Oh, sweet Gus, I hope he’s okay and can see. And yes, fingers all over the world are crossed. And bloggers love your mama’s painting…I wonder if they know you do animal portraits? https://annesp6.wixsite.com/anne-pujalte
It us a done deal!!!
👍😺😊We hope you had a great Thursday!
Oh, all days are pretty nice around here. Thank you.
Thanks for the link. That is a fun peacock. 🙂
Well, a bit of sweetness in a troubled world.
Uh-oh Loulou – peacocks scream like they are being murdered, so Mama may want to rethink adding one to the garden (We couldn’t access the story cause it has a pay wall so we don’t know if you could hear Kevin or not.)
Oh, I heard him all right. But do they call like that all day long? It is so exotic, but probably not at midnight….
That is one fancy peacock!
Strange how he just wandered in…..
What a beautiful story, I just love peacocks and their colors. I love the Rousseau too! Peace to all.
Well, the artist will be very pleased. She is Mya’s mama, my doggy friend’s mama, that is, and she is so, so talented.
