Mama, you’re ruining my wind-blown ‘look’!
🌺🌸🌼
We are so glad to report that Mr. Doug sent a website for Jan’s obituary so that you will be able to visit it and pass it on to other bloggers. Â I will try to get it to others, too, so that they might be informed of her death.
So very sad for all of us who loved her Funny Farmers life.  It is still very hard to believe.  But thank you for the kind comments about Jan.  I will  send them to her brother.

Here we are battling the wild winds that seems never to stop blowing.  Aren’t  the winds supposed to be in March?
Mama saw me outside barely able to stand up but I finally  made it to  the door, thank heaven!  I must say, it ruffled my coat in a rather nice way.
Maybe I won’t have to bathe until tomorrow. Â That wind makes everything so clean! Â But it sure tuckers one out, just trying to stand up.
Oh your Mama will LOVE Gladys Taber. Unfortunately she died in 1980 and her books are mostly out of print. She wrote about her life in Connecticut and wrote cookbooks and had lots of dogs and cats ! When the actual libraries open again…
Mama will find her, she’s an amateur sleuth…
We were shocked and saddened to hear the news about Jan. She was always a nice lady…with great humor. She will be missed.
Don’t get blown away, Loulou!
You may visit the funeral home site and if you wish, plant a tree in her name but there is also a place for condolences. A good site. It’s in yesterday’s blog but I’ll put it in again.
We are SOOOO very sorry to hear about Jan!! Mama read the obituary and it sounded like her life was dedicated to the care of animals. Loulou, we are lucky – but so many animals aren’t and it’s up to people to be aware and help us out. Jan was a Hero.
Boy, was she ever. And Loulou is in love with Marcus….
You really need to get more rest Loulou!
I know, I NEVER get enough.
LouLou, we are certainly glad you didn’t blow away…You certainly have heard of it “raining cats and dogs.”
As Gladys Taber wrote ” The wind is the Winter blowing away !” Usually a welcome event.
Well, mama is looking up Ms Taber for sure! Lovely way to describe wind.
