OH, no…mama is into photographing the open markets again! She just can’t keep away from places that have this many choices of tomatoes…
Not to mention the fruits and nuts and cheeses and just about anything you’d ever want in your bocca!
I think you could say that mama feels inclined to cook when there are riches like these. And often at half the price of what she used to pay in LA, she says.
Mama says she is happy with a plate of tomatoes, basil and a little salt and olive oil.
Hey, don’t forget that mozzarella! That’s MY favourite.
Hey, this guy is the brains behind the balls. Or maybe it’s the other way around…
UH, OH…about to drool again…
OMC. The mom would love to have a market like that near here. She would go there every day to shop.
It is a treasure for mama. And the people are so, so nice.
Oooooh, those veggies in the market look sooooo good!! And those buffala balls look delicious. Uh, mama shakin her head again….well, what do I know!? We’ve seen a few markets in the Lake area, but nothing like the big ones in Rome!! Maybe today in Verona…….ugh, another CAR trip………
OH, MYA, just chew on some of that Travelgum. No, on second thought, ginger tea might help. Forget that, just howl until they give you everything you want.
We don’t eat tomatoes but Jan LOVES them! Give her a tomato and she’s likely buy some bacon for a BLT. Which she does NOT share!
OH, mama’s favorite sandwich, too! With mayo and if you can find it, butter lettuce. Drool…
I love this photo of you, you look so cute.
Well, I direct the photographer so as to get some good shots. Thank you.
Tomatoes-salt-olive oil- and a few slivers of that mozzarella…
Oh, boy, and I’m not there for the mozz! Mama says she is getting one today, for papa. Harumph.
Oh my. The produce in that market is beautiful. Makes me want to shop there. We have six different kinda of tomatoes growing, but it won’t be until August that we will have anything to harvest.

OH, mama has six or so too but as of now, there is nothing happening except flowers and (we hope) bees.
