Okay, listen up, all ye who dread Monday. Here’s the thing. Monday is just a day. Monday is just a name. Monday is a beginning, never an end. Monday is for musing. Monday is for marveling at another winter week that takes us closer to…SPRING!
We love to spark (new verb around here since we’d love to TRY to keep sparkling, despite the attempts on the candle of democracy to blow it out), so here’s a spark:
If you can’t fix something, find something you can.
And we think there are a good many places that need some fixing, so we’re going to try to keep attention on those, difficult as it may seem at times.
The old poubelle trick is being used A LOT around here. Bad thoughts, into the poubelle, good thoughts, keep and be nourished by them.
Have a brilliant week on your way to the shortest day of the year and then….BAMMO….the voyage to sun and warmth begins!
Here’s one of mama’s paintings, just to look at, no comment needed.
This figure is pushing things into the poubelle, haha.
As far as I’m concerned, Monday is just like every other day for me. ~Murphy
HAHA, me, too, Murph, but I have to humor these anthros…
I love that sentiment, Loulou. I’m a big believer in paying attention to all the precious moments in life that bring us joy. Even if it’s a beautiful flower, or the wonderful smell of coffee. I love that painting, your mama is very talented.
Merci, Ms Militza, painting releases lots of (recent) unwanted anxiety, mama says.
Monday can be a beautiful beginning.
It’s always best to concentrate on what we can do, not what we can’t.
Oui, oui, we feel exactly the same.
Love the painting – “Pushing it to the limit” I think….and there are quite a few things right now that are being pushed to the limit that’s for sure!!! Monday is the beginning of something – it’s a chance for a new week with a new attitude and new challenges…..I hated Monday when I worked but I really like Mondays now. New beginnings.
Hugs, Pam
Oh, oui, Monday when working was always an ‘iffy’ day…
Yes, lots of places do need fixing!

Well, we kitties are on it…
Excellent spark and good advice. XO
Now if only we can remember it….
Intereesting word (we had to look it up). And Mama’s artwork….
Well, poubelle is prettier than garbage can so we use it….
oh we like the painting and the thought
Merci, Ms G! It’s nice to have one’s work liked, mama says, but if not, that’s good , too.
