Have you ever seen thee masks before?
Well, years ago, mama had a ball collecting these little masks in the photo. I love the one that is a piggy with eyelashes and also those weird ones with their tongues out, or whatever those are, but does anyone out there know where in Mexico they come from? Mama has forgotten and the lady she got them from has disappeared. Hmm…maybe that’s a story.
So if anyone has any info about these, I would certainly like to know. I can’t play with them, I know that. But then I’d have be able to leap tall buildings in a single jump to reach them. But I kinda like the guy with the ribbons between his horns, too.
Oh, lordy–One of them just winked at me!!! I’m outta here…
WOW – those masks are FABULOUS!!!!!! Maman spent a lot of time (years ago) in Mexico, but never saw anything quite like these AMAZING masks!! What creativity – maybe the artists were chewing on some kind of wild plant – or drinking lots of tequila!! At least for the idea part – but they are so beautifully executed it’s amazing. Wow, encore.
We’re looking for the lady who sold them to mama so many years ago. We may find her, and thank you for the website of the mask man.
Winked at you? We’d run too, Loulou!
Yes, I’m sure he did but don’t want to stare at him again…
They are very unique.

Oh, holy cat! They ARE a bit scary … if one of them winked at me, I’d be out of there too!
