I’m howling about mama losing my blog for today!
Well, today is the birthday of our 96-year-old friend and mama was helping me do the blog and DELETED it or didn’t SAVE it or whatever it was she did and so I’m having to write it AGAIN!
At least I remember the spark:
“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” – Abraham Lincoln.
And wow, does Mitti, our birthday girl, still have life in her years even though it is not that easy for her to walk very far.
Mama and papa took her to lunch yesterday and she was making slightly off-color jokes about that “wonderful Trump man”ha ha ha ha. And even more that mama can’t remember…uh, oh.
First mama loses my blog and now can’t remember the funnies that Mitti shared!
Oh, well, bonne anniversaire, dear Mitti, and many more.
And mama, maybe you should eat more of these:
- Nuts and Seeds. Nuts such as walnuts, almonds, and peanuts, as well as sunflower and pumpkin seeds, are brain foods high in protein and omega fatty acids. …
- Salmon. …
- Beans. …
- Blueberries. …
- Dark and leafy greens. …
- Lean Red Meat. …
- Avocados. …
- Tomatoes
WHAT? You eat all of these already????
Now we’re in real trouble…
loulou, where r u? dee mum iz gittin worried
Well, she was right to worry. Mama tested positive for covid on Monday and felt fine and then didn’t. More on all later, thanks for worrying and she’s recovering nicely.
Hi cute LouLou! Mitti sounds awesome and thanks for the tips on what to eat, I like all of those things and would rather hear about food than exercise!
HAHA, me, too!
Managing a human is such hard work!
You’re tellin’ ME.
Happy Birthday to your mama’s friend! 96 years young! That’s a great quote from Mr. Lincoln.
Yes, we loved that and will pass on your greetings.
Happy birthday Mitti. That is quite some innings, isn’t it, Loulou? I love all those things on the brain food list – yum!
Mama does, too and has eaten that way for years. So why isn’t it work…uh…more evident, ahah.
Well Loulou at least you spoke your mind (even if you got in trouble for it!). We hope your Mama and Papa’s 96 year old friend had a fabulous birthday. We’re sure that SPARK works perfectly for her!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, it does and did, and she’s in good form.
Happy Birthday to Mitti!! I am friends with a woman who is 96. We didn’t meet until she was 91, but she made an effort to be friends with me. XO
Elderly anthros are much wiser than young ones, that’s for sure.
LouLou Happy Birthday to your Anthro friend who appears quite lively at age 96. Suggest that Mama make some notes so she can relay the jokes.
She will ask again…they were funny.
Loulou, you definitely look terrified in that last photo!
Well, doesn’t often happen and I was stretching it a bit.
We eat those foods, too, except petcretar can’t eat tomatoes…from the nightshade family.
Happy Birthday to your good friend!
Oh, sorry about that one, but what the heck, one out of so many choices..
