Well, today mama is remembering several kitties in her past so I’m going along with that.
Above is Fiat, found at a Fiat car company as a kitten but they didn’t want him. He spent his life terrorizing Puss, a kitty (of the downstairs neighbor) who was a terror herself. They were amicable enemies.
And these two Siamese were Louie and Hooker, Louie was found at a garage sale and Hooker was found in a gutter in terrible shape but recovered beautifully.
Mama’s friends used to come by her house and say, “Oh, hi, is Louie here?” They had come to visit with him, not mama, haha.
And this was Sushi, an adorable Tuxie (uh, oh, there was another one?) who used to make papa laugh when she greeted him at the door and he said, “Sushi, go plop” and she did, on her back, paws in the air. (She only wanted a tummy rub I’m sure.)
And this this photo is papa’s daughter, Nicole, very young, with Luna, found on a night of the full moon on Mulholland Drive at a fire station, abandoned. Mama stopped her truck and opened the door and said to herself that if that little kitty got in, she was coming home with mama.
And then mama felt bad for a possible other family and put up signs along Mulholland to see if she had been lost, and papa went right up and took all of them down! The firemen said that she had been around a long time and no one had come to find her, and so mama took matters into her own hands, haha.
Lovely memories. Lovely kitties.
I wish I had known all of them. I hope all of your have sweet memories of your kitties and doggies and any other member of your animal family who is now over the bridge.
That was a very loving tribute to the sweeties, thanks for sharing them with us.
You’re welcome and boy, do we miss all of them.
Yes, Yes, we do,LouLoou.
Oh, mama does, too. And there seem to be many…but she is not a spring chicken either so there has been time to love and snuggle many sweeties.
