Yep, the whole entire bed is MINE, ALL MINE!
Well, mama has some memories of foundlings, not any from a shelter as all of mama’s kitties just sort of appeared out of the blue. But since it’s doggy day we’ll start with memories of sweet Mya, who left us last year. She was my best doggy friend. Here she is eating cherry tomatoes in our garden!
Then there were kitties that mama just seemed to have found in strange ways;
Fiat was found at the Fiat agency in Santa Barbara.
Hooker and Sweetie were wandering around lost for days when mama found them.
Louie was in a car at a garage sale with a sign For Sale on his little body…the only time mama paid for a kitty, 5 bucks, really FAST as she was in LOVE, and he was so loved that mama’s friends use to come over and at the door say, “Oh, hi, Suzanne, nice to see you, but is Louie here?”
Stella came to the back door of mama’s house where she was drawing a little black kitty for illustrations for Millions of Cats in an art class! And there she was!!!!A tiny black kitty, meowing outside mama’s drawing area, ready to model.
There were others but mama doesn’t have photos. Sweet memories.
So many kitties need to be adopted and loved.
And now there is LOULOU!!! That’s me at 6 months….waiting for tuna and trying to figure out if this is my forever home.
It was.
So nice to see the kitties that came before you, Loulou.
Oui, there were a few, that’s for sure, but mama is no spring chi…..er….teenager.
Your mama is an angel, Loulou. She has given so many kitties love and shelter. What a sweet photo of Mya, gone but never forgotten.
Oh we miss Mya so much, and her mama, her dear, dear mama.
Your Mama gave lots of homeless kitties a home and “then there was you!!”….lucky girl. The baby picture of you is so cute – you still have that “kitten” in your eyes dear Loulou.
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, that’s true, I did have that kitten look, didn’t I, and we loved pics of you, Teddy, when you were a little purring wonder.
Your mama is very sweet to have saved so many kitties. They were all adorable. XO
Well, there were more but mama’s memory has to sort that out. Oh, Peperoncino was one, found in the summer at a place they were staying outside of Rome, her stepkids adopted and took him back to Rome where he lived a lovely life.
Aww, seeing the furry friends before you is cool, Loulou.
Well, I approve of all before-me kitties!
Wow LouLou ! Mama has sure found her way to some amazing kitties (and vice versa)! What a nice memorial to all of them.
And she’s trying to remember a couple more long ago….
People always talk about us rescuing cats … but we know they save us, too.
Oh, do we ever, Mommakat! Mama would not know what to do with life without me
