There…a bit closer…
Well, tonight we are saying thank you, merci, for the most lovely waxing moon about to be full in 3 days but meanwhile, our guru gardener is planting leeks, carrots, onions, anything that grows underground for during the waxing moon is when one PLANTS these things.
Mama didn’t know that until she started living in our little village.
Wow, the things one learns from another culture.
And we are very thankful to have watched Kamala Harris’s magnificent speech tonight in North Carolina as she took on T’s running mate, J. D. Vance, and his pack of…well…untruths.
Hope is on the horizon and we are VERY happy, beaucoup happy for that.
Also thankful for a series that perhaps you already know but one that is sweet and kind and has incredible dialogue and a darling doggy-star named Colin from Accounts. If you have not seen this half-hour series, go thee immediately and be overjoyed!
Well, there is a lot more to be thankful for and of course, ever and always, it is your friendships. Merci, merci. Smiling in my dreamy state…
Indeed, people who plant the old way, by the times of the moon, seem to know what we do not. Of course, I have a black thumb and can’t grow anything but weeds and crabgrass.
AW, we don’t belive that. Try radishes. They grow for ANYONE!
Didn’t know that about the waxing moon and planting! Thanks for that although David and I don’t do gardening anymore unless it’s in a container or pot on the back deck or front porch! Saw Kamala’s speech but didn’t see Vances’ but hers was GREAT.
Not familiar with that series you mention but it sounds like a good one!
Hugs, Pam
It is so much FUN, that series, just a riot and so touching…
Nice moon shots and wonderful thankfuls. I am thankful for you and your wonderful mama. XO
Oh, merci, Ms E. And we are so thankful for YOU and your darling nieces and family.
Those are cool photos, I hadn’t been mooned in a while!
Ha ha, somebody moons me and he’ll, she’ll, it’ll be seeing STARS!
