Yep, these two are about to pull into port on Saturday and start chasing birds with me in the garden! (Or a certain black kitty…)
Well, now I’m really getting ready for the praise and adoration I so clearly deserve: Saturday there will be four more family members, including the little cutie-pooties who play with me in the garden and whom mama likes to cuddle, when they let her, and so on Saturday night we will be THIRTEEN in number for dinner! Maybe we should have a fourteenth…OH, I FORGOT, I sit at the table, too!!! So we’re safe.
Mama has had a great idea. She squeezes a lot of lime juice, and there are two strapping adolescent male anthros to crush the ice, and there is a charming professional bartender in the family, too, and HE will make mojitos for the adults while mama figures out what to feed thirteen people, but I’m sure, as usual, it will all work out and a good time will be had by all.
Meanwhile, tonight is another adults night out and I’m stranded here with that infernal music they leave on for me, but I have persuaded mama to put on the cd of the Peruvian flute players that she bought in the open market today. And if mama figures out how to upload the music video she made in the market (can’t these adolescent IPad and IPhone geniuses help?), she’ll help me put the video on one of my blogs soon. I heard these guys and they are COOL. A clarinet and a guitar, both really, really pros. And there they are, playing open markets all over the place and they could be making cds in Los Angeles, for heaven’s sake.
Ah, well, I can understand wanting to be a free agent and out in fresh air for one’s work.
It’s what I do every morning in the rose garden when I get up, but I’m not exactly playing an instrument…if you get my drift. But I’m jamming, you can bet your boots.
Now WHERE is that ball I want to throw for the small anthros?
