Well, I just read that Socks needs some love sent his way, even though he is eating and getting snuggled a lot.
Marcus of the Funny Farmers has plans to open his Private Dining Car for rent. Many of his family appear to want to eat in it instead of where they normally dine. I wonder how I can make reservations, and will he be serving kitty food for those who don’t wish to bring their own?
Sorry to have missed the Commentathon sponsored by The Swiss Cats! Every comment created a donation to the Haut-Leman shelter and we’re sorry we missed that. Sometimes it’s very hard to visit all the lovely blogs that we would like to visit.
Thirty six cats flew in a private jet to Denver this week! It was a life-saving operation.
And this from CatChow.com:
1. In terms of development, the first year of a cat’s life is equal to the first 15 years of a human life. After its second year, a cat is 25 in human years. And after that, each year of a cat’s life is equal to about 7 human years.
2. Cats can rotate their ears 180 degrees.
3. The hearing of the average cat is at least five times keener than that of a human adult.
4. In the largest cat breed, the average male weighs approximately 20 pounds.
5. Domestic cats spend about 70 percent of the day sleeping. And 15 percent of the day grooming.
6. A cat cannot see directly under its nose.
7. Most cats have no eyelashes.
8. Cats have five toes on each front paw, but only four on the back ones. It’s not uncommon, though, for cats to have extra toes. The cat with the most toes known had 32—eight on each paw!
9. Some believe that if you dream about a white cat, good luck will follow.
10. Meows are not innate cat language—they developed them to communicate with humans!
WOW. Wonder what I spoke before?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw LouLou, you look so purretty. We bet whatever you spoke, was just as bootyful as you. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Aw, you two are so kind to me.
Thanks for the informative entry. I didn’t know cat meows just to communicate with human. Another thing I know about cats is that they are color blind. If only they can see their colorful outfit 😉
Oh, wow, I thought I was helping mama coordinate her clothes. NO wonder she looks so funny!
Hello Little Kitty,
I enjoyed your comments
Hello Little Kitty,
I enjoyed your comments. I learned things about kitties I did not know! Fancy that! Tee Hee……
I hope you and Mama are happy and enjoying yourselves.
With Love,
Sandra
We have so much fun, but more fun when Mya and her mama are here!
My cousin is a delight! I am sure that you. Mama and Mya are too. Maybe we will meet one day.
An Episcopal “God Bless”.
Love,
Sandra
Oh, mama was an Episcopalian once…so something in common!
You are quite the reporter LouLou.
Well, some evenings, one has to scrape along with just about anything one can come up with. Time seems to be elusive right now, whatever that means.
I have extra toesies! ~Ernie
Oh, Ernie,I remember that you wrote about that once. So cool!!! And mama has an extra vertebra, whatever that is.
Oh, thank you for plugging the new Bring Your Own Meal Dining Experience. We will not be serving food, but for you, Loulou, we will make an exception.
And don’t forget (it was your suggestion) to send requests to Swampi Marcus to read the future. 🙂
We heard about Socks. He is an old friend and we are sorry he is so sick. 🙁
Okay, Marcus, I’d like reservations for, oh, about 25 kitties, and I’ll bring the nip. And guess what? NONE of us is a vegan or allergic to gluten.
Aughhh @ Please delete one of these duplicate comments – my internet is going bonkers !

I cannot follow the link to Socks (the only Socks I know is from the ATCAD blog) but I am sending purrs and prayers. Also, Frimousse, who is a friend of The Swiss Cats, has been very sad since his old friend RouXy went to the Bridge earlier this winter, and his Master & Mistress are worried about him. He could use some Power of the Paw too. Thank you.
I’ll try to fix that link. Sorry that these things happen in the wordpress world occasionally.
It IS Socks from ATCAD – I found out when I read their blog last night. Hope he can feel better soon !
And keep those ears rotating ! That’s how you learn so much.
