Well, I started thinking that I had better catch up on what’s happening in politics, seeing as how the time is drawing nigh (wherever that is) to have elections everywhere.
I started checking out the Italian paper…(see above). Then I consulted my iPad and computer news, and I even went to our bookcase to get some background research on elections and candidates (whatever they are), and I actually found a book that sort of explained just what the heck is going on, but…
In the end, I was so full of information that I was EXHAUSTED and so I just gave up and took a nap. Maybe no news is good news…but this, from Jan at the Funny Farm is REAL news!
Skip the news, Loulou and go straight for the nap.
Yep, that’s what I did, thank you.
OMG – what a story about the great dane!!! I guess our adventures woulld be getting tangled in the cherry tomato vines or passing out in the nip patch! Mama has been reading the news TOO – things getting crazy everywhere. Maybe she’ll take a break – but her friend Bettie sends her all the late-night comedians takes on the US political scene and they have a really good (and funny) take on things. So maybe that’s all she needs for the US – but the rest of the world – zowee!!!
What’s wonderful are the kids’ marches in so many cities to protest what we are doing to our planet….so moving. That’s politics I can understand.
ME TOOOO!!!!!! Thank goodness for the young progressives who seem to know what they will inherit on planet earth!!!
YES, the wonderful protest yesterday was amazing. Mama and papa’s little grandkids were in it in Rome. 180 cities in Italy protested.
We remember Buddy running up a tree to the end of his leash on a walk. Thankfully, the branches were still far above his head. Jan does not climb trees any more and she doesn’t think our fire dept would come get him down.
Jan says she feels the same way. It’s exhausting to try to figure out politics.
Well, we’re sure of one thing at least and we may be going out on a limb, but we want a civil human being in the White House for a change.
That poor woofie, up a tree without a paddle. Wait, that’s not quite right, but neither is a dog up a tree!
Wasn’t that amazing? And Jan’s doggy went up a tree once, too.
We bet the dog went up the tree to get AWAY from the election news !
HAHA, that’s a good one!
