Oh, no, are they back already? I had better straighten up things…
You know, sometimes mama helps me with my thoughts and writing and what I want to say in my musings, and tonight I was tardy in starting my blog so I waited until mama and papa came in from what used to be called a “date”, whatever that is, and I saw immediately that mama only wanted one thing – to snuggle into bed and read (it was quite late for ALL of us), and so this will be short and sweet.
Isn’t life wonderful?
To have your anthros go out to eat or whatever it is they do and have the house all to YOURSELF?
No one to tell you to go to bed, eat your dinner, take a bath and so on.
Well, all I can say is that they evidently did have a lovely time together eating crisp little squid (moscardini) and some pretty formidable shrimp, and my question is this:
WHY WASN’T I INVITED, TOO???????????
(I know, I know, I overdid it on the italics, but what the heck?)
Let’s all take a lovely snooze together and make up for NOT TAKING ME ON THEIR RENDEZVOUS!
Loulou, you can come on the next date. Your pick. Just not that liver ice cream place, okay?
We hope they had the decency to bring you home a kitty-bag.
Decency? Decency? How do you spell that.
oh that photo of you and your Mama is sooo sweet!!!!!!! Let us know if you get to go on a date with them!
I think they hinted that three is a crowd…but glad you liked the oic!
Ooooh – those crispy little squid sound delicious!! Did they bring back some tasty morsels for YOU? We had couscous poisson yesterday and I got a bit of couscous – but no poisson!? Today Papa going to get take out from the Indian resto around the corner. If he can get in and out before the really heavy rain – and wind hit! You’re lucky to be in ROME!! It’s supposed to calm down a bit next week and be sunny, but what a November this has been! Loulou, count your blessings – you get to pee indoors!!!
Heh, heh yes, but THEY don’t know WHERE yet. Just kidding, I go on my john, very neatly and yes, I am lucky but you get to see the OUTDOORS!
Yes, why weren’t you invited this time?
I think they just overlooked me when I was under the bed napping.
Loulou, it looks like you are making your point very well, by looking your human right in the face and telling her just how your feeling about the whole date night out without you situation. Say, did they at least bring you home some shrimpies? Tummy tickles.
I think the tummy tickles are far more important than an old shrimp SHELL. They ATE the insides!
Well, Loulou, a date is for two, not for three, but they could have brought you home some leftovers.
They brought home zilch! I’ll have to take care of this…..
Wasn’t there at least a “kitty bag” for you to taste ?
Our huMom was gone a long time today – first the car battery died – so we were ready for our Second Breakfast by the time she got home !
Oh, when batteries die, uh, oh. You may be out of dinner for a LOOOOOONG time. I hope not. Hope your mama got a charge out of her ordeal….
