WOW, that’ll show him!
Hurray for the governments who have decided to release reserves of oil to be used to bring down the price of gasoline, which Putain…er…Putin’s war caused to shoot up.
We are thankful that so many coutries can work together to ensure peace on our planet against a formidable enemy, one who is bent on destroying Ukraine’s wish for membership in NATO and a democractic government.
Boy, do we wish this were over and done with, but 500,000 displaced Ukrainians must be helped to have their needs filled in the countries that have welcomed them.
Save the Children is also helping the cause.
Many websites are listed on Google from known charities, in case you would like to help in any way.
I think that the world’s response to Putin’s agression has been the biggest surprise in his career as an autocrat! Thank heaven that word is not autocat…
We are thankful, too, that all of you are out there sending hope for an end to this war. It is definitely not a calm nor easy time in the world’s history…
Really hoping this senseless war ends soon, Loulou. I’ve been waking up each morning with the song by Culture Club spinning around my head 🙁
“War, war is stupid and people are stupid
And love means nothing in some strange quarters…”
Oh, a perfect song for these asspoles, as our 6-year-old neighbor coined for idiots.
I’m purring mega purrs for Ukraine…and everyone affected by this senseless act of aggression. ~Ernie
A criminal is a criminal. A tyrant is a tyrant. They must be stopped.
Scary times aren’t they Loulou. We pray for the world and especially the Ukrainian people as well as all those providing shelter and food to them as they have to leave their homes to stay alive. It’s so scary. It weighs on everyone’s hearts……all we can do is HOPE and support them as we can.
Love, Teddy
It simply must stop. But the NATO countries cannot TOUCH Ukraine or Russia or it’s a declaration of war. And the idiot in our Senate who said Putin should be assasinated has not helped!!!!
Sadly there are several idiots in the Senate but that’s a whole other story. LOL
Please read today’s blog. I hope I have not overstepped but it is more important than anything I have heard or read in years. A personal interview with President Biden, who will go down in hisory as a great president and human being. It’s about time after the circus of the last one.
We all need to PRAY for this to end before it ends all of us. Scary ties indeed.
Nice to know there is so much going on th=o help those who are now refugees from all that horror.
So many charities are helping, and it’s now 1,000,000 refugees!
Mamma just read that ONE MILLION have been displaced (in the NY Times). Loulou we are LUCKY to be in France – and not in Ukraine! I think about all the dgggies and kitties an other animals who have lost their lives – and old people and children who couldn’t leave. This is like nothing we have ever lived! And I read Putin has a place in Monaco – and a little town not far from there. YIKES!!!!
He will not be able to go there, possibly ever again.
I am praying for all the people and their pets too. XO
I have heard that they can take their pets if they are able. Many have relatives in Poland and surrounding countries, I hope LOTS of them.
This is indeed a frightful time. Thank you for your thoughtful words.
Well, we think about this day and night right now and wonder where the refugees will go, where are the beds, where are the bathrooms, where is the food for all of them?
