WOW, LOTS OF ACTION AROUND THESE PARTS!
Well, today we have this to say:
You just never know when an adventure will surprise you!
ADVENTURE AT Les Hauts de Collioure:
Mama and papa were visiting an elderly friend as they do on Saturdays and she had all of her doors and windows open to part of her house because a little black bird had flown in and was soaring and dipping all over the house looking for a way out and so papa shut some more doors and then the birdie flew outside between two parts of the house where there is a space but flew from there back INSIDE the other part of her house and so mama and our neighbor shut papa in by closing all the doors to the walkway and papa opened the big window in her other part of the house and out the birdie flew around the kitchen and then out he went! He had been visiting for about an hour, our friend said. So papa came out all cool and collected and made the sign of a muscle man with both arms up, you know the one, and was our HERO.
ADVENTURE ON rue du SOLEIL:
Then another thing happened up the street when a loose donkey from Donkey Man (who knows how this little critter was alone, he is never alone, the donkey, not the man) was discovered in our neighbor’s garage and he had pooped on the floor and our cute neighbors ran and got something to gather up the poop and were DELIGHTED to have it for their spring plants on their terrace and Donkey Man came and got Rasta (the donkey’s name) and took him back with the other three.
Never a dull moment around here. Hope your Monday is full of adventures, even a donkey or two!
That bird must have been scared. Glad he made it out okay. Paws up to your papa!
He was very frightened and you could see him smile when he found the window!
Wow that’s a lot of adventure, Loulou. Oh my word those donkeys are just too cute!
Maybe we could send one over to “decorate” your garage, too. It’s plalnting time after all…
Well how FUN that both the bird and a neighborhood donkey had adventures! Everybody needs to fly free once in a while although the thought of a flying donkey is just a little bit scary!
Hugs, Teddy
HA HA that’s a good one, Teddy! We’ll imagine that often now when we need a giggle. How are those leaves feeling today? You look so…well…nestled! And you blend in to so many places, a great talent to have especially when THEY want to take you to the vet!
Oh, I’d love to have a donkey adventure! I do not believe in totem animals, but if I did, mine would be a miniature donkey or a small burro.
It certainly sounds like enough adventure and excitement for one weekend.
YES, YES, a miniature donk is the BEST! Maybe good company in the house too…uh, oh, maybe not.
That is a lot of excitement. 🙂 XO
Well, our neighbors werw exhausted, tired but happy haha.
WOW, a loose donkey sounds way more interesting and fun than a loose bird!
Oh, it was, it was, a loose bird…well, we don’t know exactly what that birdie DID n the house…
