Well mama and papa were out walking on Sunday and mama made up this spark, which can be taken any way one wishes but mama liked the feel of it. Probably because she is only 5’2″and everyone else in the world towers over her, haha.
No matter how big or small you are, throw a long shadow to include those around you.
Now if that has any meaning for anyone, I’m happy to hear it, but frankly, I tried to throw a long shadow and failed miserably, haha. Still, I get her drift…
And mama did find a pretty cute guy to shadow with (now that we are using nouns as verbs…argggh)!
This is P’tit Louis, a very short and amazing man who was the love of Collioure and now is gone to great ships in the sky. He was a builder of magnificent replicas of old ships, and was beloved by us all here in Collioure. The obit is in French but there is a video of his lovely works and more about his extraordinary life in our little village.
He brought joy to all. And he threw a very, very long sweet shadow.
I hope mama’s spark makes sense. We feel that our blogger friends throw wonderfully long shadows that bring joy and reach many around the world.
😻😻😻
Maybe this one will work…
Absolutely love your spark and I am so deeply sorry about the loss of this wonderful gentleman. He must have been incredibly talented. What a profound loss. (((hugs)))
He was the backbone of our little village, and so talented. His ship constructiond are now priceless..
I’m sorry about your mama’s friend, Loulou. What a wonderful tribute. Your mama throws a lovely, large shadow with her personality.
Oh, jeez, mama is blushing and I will thank you for her, yes and p’tit Louis was adorable and much loved.
That’s a cool shadow pic…and a cool Spark.
Well, Ernie, you cast a very long shadow in our lives every day….
We’re sorry your town has lost such a talented and kind man but his shadow will never disappear I think. Maybe we all turn into shadows one day Loulou?! We love the photo of your Mama with him though AND the one with your Mama and Papa’s shadows together.
Love, Teddy
Merci, Teddy, mama loves taking shadow pics. Maybe we’ll throw out some more one day, they are such fun, and yes, he was amazing, this little man with a big shodow.
I know about shortness too, being 53.5…everyone in my family is way taller than I, even my mother was!!
Yes, Shadows can be so long and tall! And yes, the shadows of our blogging works do reach deep into many places and hearts!
Yours fall n to miine!
Nice shadows! Sweet looking gentleman, sorry he passed away.
LouLou, we love how your shadows would be with your poses. Just need a bright light to show them off to us!! (Tee-hee)
HEY, that’s a good idea. Maybe mama could hold a flashlight and make a Loulou shadow, haha. And 5’3″and a half is still taller than MAMA!
Fun Spark and great photos today Loulou. You sure look relaxed all stretched out.
Well, it was a stretch, but I made it happen.
A very nice tribute to a wonderful man in your town ! We like Mama’s spark too.
Merci, Ms Mary, and that man was amazing.
Beautiful spark. I am sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. XO
You would have loved him and he, you.
