Well, this is my selfie today. I was having a little tete a tete with Mr Moon last week and had mama do a “shoot”….
Today is Ukrainian Easter and mama is making their bread, laced with raisins and to be served with a rich cheese called pashka. But we didn’t have the ingredients for the cheese…sigh.
Mama says it doesn’t bother her. She has made many f
or many Easters and it’s LOADED with cream and butter and fat. Okay, mama, you’ll just have to have yogurt with yours, haha.
Me, too, unfortuately.
The kulich has pink icing (seen from the top) and the stuffed eggs are with curry. Happy Sunday.
Love this moon shot!
Merci, I love lying on the bed taking a mood bath (which mama used to do when she was young and foolish).
That’s a great photo of Mr. (or Ms.) moon keeping an eye on you Loulou. That paint is wonderful! The goodies your Mama made in la cucina are yummy sounding – my Mom made deviled eggs (from the Easter eggs) with curry too….my Mom and Dad love curry in lots of things. Sending you a Monday hug!
Love, Teddy
OOH, Merci, Teddy and we love deviled eggs, too. Mama could eat a dozen…but doesn’t, haha.
Oh yum that all looks delicious, Loulou.
Well, we’re still toasting the Corsican bread for Corsican Easter. Lots of Easter stuff around here, even more than other holidays.
Those sure sound like yummy Eastwer treats!
That moon in the open window sure IS spying on you…well sort of, LOL!
Did your Mama paint the painting hanging on the wall?? It sure looks like one that our Opa did of a little church lane in Europe somewhere, the again it also looks like one he made of a street scene in Curacao.
It is by a wonderful artist here in France and it’s a little street we take to get home from the centre ville and the color of the sky changes all the time. Magical. Would LOVE to see your Opa’s paintings.
The ones I have are not his best, those are at my brother’s and sister’s places, now…If I go to my sister I can make some pics, and maybe my brother who lives far away from me can send me some pics of the ones he has.
Nonetheless, I am glad for the ones I DO ave…LOL! (four)
Can’t wait to see them!! We love art from others. Thank you for the effort but if it’s too hard, don’t worry.
That is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I couldn’t send the news but I’m sure you and Don (and Loulou) watched it!!! I guess everybody was on the computer at the same time!!!!
YAY YAY and Right On, Macron!!!
Is that a new painting on the wall? I love it!! Did you paint it?
David did it…here in Collioure….and mama loved it.
I love that moon shot. I am sure the bread will be yummy. XO
The bread is scented with fennel and really is good toasted and makes us think of the brave Ukrainians. And you are so WONDERFUL to have given a home to the kitties. Lovely sisters, too.
That’s a cute selfie, you look quite cozy.
Well, on MY bed I am always cozy. It’s when THEY try to sleep in it that I have to compromise myself.
LouLou, that moon is a peeping tom…moon. So beware. Put on your robe, for heck’s sake. No lying around nekked! Love reading about your Easter noms. Have a wonderpurr week! Love,Dori
Oh, Dori, you are so funny! But I did slip into my legligee, haha.
That moon window looks like a painting – beautiful! Of course the most beautiful in that photo is you LouLou. Enjoy the butter and cream, yum!
Wow, it does look like a painting. I didn’t see that until you said it, merci!
I’m being followed by a moonshadow
Moonshadow, moonshadow
Leaping and hopping on a moonshadow
Moonshadow, moonshadow
Cat Stevens, “Moonshadow”
A great tune.
This image made me break out in song, Loulou!
Oh, mama and papa fell in love when Cat Stevens (appropriately named!) was popular…love that song, also Morning Has Broken.
That’s a great selfie. The bread sounds yummy.
It’s good bread especially toasted and celebrateds the Ukrainian people!
It is really good toasted! And easy to make. Thanks for visiting. Sorry I haven’t beem to see you in a long time. I’m going to fix that!
