WAIT A MINUTE – NO KITTY LOOKS JUST LIKE ME, GET IT?

Well, mama and papa were at a book signing up on one of Rome’s seven hills, monte Celio or Caelian hill, and discovered a place they had never even known about, much less visited!

And in the lovely gardens of the Lay Center, a catholic organization, where the signing was held, they found beautiful remnants of Roman walls, plus a kitty like me (well, hardly!) perched in one of the ruins who looked as if she could (possibly!) be a relative of MINE!  Funny how you see the odd Tuxie here and there.  Mama always wonders if perhaps we are all one big family, what with our similar coloring and fur and cattitude, haha.

But there is so much to discover in this amazing city, mama says.  She and papa have been in Rome off and on (papa, quite a long time when he was married before to an Italian) for over 44 years and yet mama tells me that every single day when she goes out to the shops or for a walk, she sees yet another marvelous site.

There is one they have just discovered around the corner, but I’m being kept in suspense until mama gets a photo of it….

Something to do with via della Gatta, street of the cat (appropriately named since it is where Berlusconi resided and held his bunga bunga parties, haha).

She’s going out for a photo NOW!

(Bet that kitty in the ruins isn’t as cute as I AM!)
