Sometimes a kitty just has to clock out and hope for the best.
In winter, I don’t think there is a soul who wouldn’t trade the icy winds and sleety rain (whatever that is) for a nice soft couch where one can snooze off to Creamland and pack up all one’s cares and woes.
It’s just hard finding the right position from which to slip into slumber, right?
There’s the stretchy full-out lie down, and then there’s the twist-neck, praying paws tail twister.
Okay, okay, just be patient with me, I’m really trying to find the place to zzzzz off! This is not a slam dunk, you know.
FOUND IT!. This is my anyone-who-might-be-passing-by-will-be-totally-unable-to-NOT-rub-my-tummy pose.
Yep, I think this will work.
See, I told you so…papa is right on the verge!
Mom says she couldn’t resist rubbing your tummy whatever pose you were in! And I would lick your nose! Tee hee hee!
That is too cute. Lick my nose? Does it tickle?
We bet you got lots of tummy rubs, Loulou.
You look very relaxed in any pose, Loulou ! Purrs
I have the famous Relax-a-Cat furniture that makes for INSTANT clonk. It’s called a bed, a couch, a chair, a rug and oh, yes, a lap.
LOL – Loulou, you not foolin me girl, that’s your yoga workout!!! I try a few maneuvers in my little bed in the living room – but you are THE BEST!!! But you should see the workouts papa and I give my pals – Octopoulpe, Albi, Mr. Renard, Petit Copain, my mice and rats (not real ones, but hey’ they’re real to me!!) We run all over the place and I shake the beejeezus outta them – whatever that might be….. well, we have our own aerobics formula down pat for sure!
Yes, papa says he is doing his “sleep yoga” when mama comes in and finds him gazing off into space with eyes closed. Not easy to accomplish, haha. Just kidding, papa has not gotten into yoga…yet. But Mya, no one can fool YOU.
what wild femme fatale, that you be, Loulouu!
Oh, you see my real self always, Grandma Ros. How is your poor arm? I wish I could sleep next to it because I know I could help it heal.
oh gees, that would be sooooo great – one of my clients a chronic pain sufferer has been giving me stuff and it has helped immensely – it’s stuff that you have to have a license for .. so I think you know what I mean – so, at 80 a new trip
Oh, Grandma Ros, I think you area on the right track, heh, heh. So glad you found SOMETHING. Remember to share information…..
You really know how to tempt a tummy tickler, Loulou. Glad to see you do your exercises before bed.
Well, my tummy gets a workout every day, that’s for sure. I just don’t want THEM to rub my fur coat off my body!
