HEY, mama, I have an idea for a blog!
Hey, this is a big day with nine hundred blogs behind me. Today I am starting to count to one thousand and what fun that will be, attempting to scour the planet (and my brain) for interesting and educational and entertaining topics for my journals. You know, a cat’s life is pretty bland, really, unless, as happens in some households, someone comes in with not one, but two small kitties to upset the kitty cart, or someone decides to add a doggy to the mix. Or a canary or goldfish…
Things could pep up then.
Lounging in the nip bed of a morn.
Kitties’ lives are, on the other hand, lives that any anthro would swap his Beamer for—a lazy wake-up call, a casual meander out among the flowers and trees to sniff at the day’s scents (I suppose coffee brewing or buttery croissantsfresh from the bakery might be the anthro equivalent), a loll in the nip bed for good measure, a haughty look at the neighboring kitty who is barred from my green morning, then back in the warm kitchen to have my crunchy cereal and just-opened packet of poulet en gelée.
Not that an anthro would salivate over my suppers, but still…
So, dear readers, today I look for new material (don’t I every day?) but I’m also going to throw in some fun things to look at on other websites and of course, you will be hearing my opinionated views on most subjects just for the heck of it. I welcome requests, too. Recipes, garden tips, whatever…
I love my computer, but mama is talking about getting me a different one and I just don’t know. I’m pretty set in my ways and I’m a PC kitty, that’s for sure. I don’t know if I can adjust to that one named after the fruit. Besides, papa says that switching would take the rest of the month and he has other fish to fry, so to speak.
You’re not taking away my PC, you hear?
We’ll see. For now, I’m still paw, paw, pawing away on Old Faithful, and loving every minute.
A big thank you to all readers and to new sign-ups from all over the place. I really appreciate your casting an eye thisaway to catch up on kitty craziness.
Just for fun, here’s a photo of me, 900 blogs ago:
You want me to write WHAT?
Congratulations on already writing 900 posts- that is excellent!
Well, thank you. My paws got a bit tired, but mama gives me good paw massage.
So you have 900 posts under your belt … um, under your paws. Good job. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, but I know that YOU guys have written many, many more than THAT! And I hope you keep it up because they are WONDERFUL blogs.

Well, mama is going to get right on that and get out her book, No Need To Knead, and I’ll copy the recipe out for you guys. SO easy. All you do is add sliced pepperoni on top of a basic pizza. I do that next week so keep posted.
Wow! Congrats on hitting 900 blog posts! We’re approaching 2000. Who woulda thought us kitties had so much to say?
WOW. TWO THOU!!! You all are so great and isn’t it fun, fun, fun to tell all those anthros what to do and what not to do? Haha.
Oh, LouLou just look at you and how cute you are with your cereal and so many blog posts – hard to believe isn’t it? Just write what you have been writing – they are all good and the pictures of you relaxing are the best.
Well, thank you and I will try to write about things of interest…there are so many in the world, aren’t there? But sometimes, I’m like so many writers–my little pea brain goes blank and I have to nap for inspiration.
Oh my GOD! This really is the cousin, if not the sister, of Domino! AND Loulou is a writer as well! This really amazing. Esp. that last photo, it could be my cat. I will tell Domino he has competition, as a blogger.
Love the posts and the photos are too funny. So glad you visited Southern Fried French!
Lynn
Well, mama visited YOUR site today (she loves Domimo–her sister sent her your website just a few days ago and she subscribed instantly) and left a vegetarian recipe for Artichoke Lasagne from her book. The world is small, no? And yes, I think I am in Domino’s family somewhere…both French anyway.
