MAMA, WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT?
Well, in keeping with my sometimes far-out happenings that I like to share with you, I am putting in a link to the most darling little creature I’ve seen in a long time. Mama and papa were watching this video that Mya’s friend, Bettie, sent to her and then to us, and I kept pawing at the screen, hoping he/she/it would play with me. Not sure how we might accomplish that–with a snorkel maybe…
But all smiles, this one! And unlike the rest of us, if he/she/it loses part of himself/herself/itself the part can be regenerated, which is why scientists are studying this amazing salamander.
WOW, no more lost tails in doors! Hmm…maybe we could grow back a different tail. A tiger’s, for example, or a donkey’s? Any ideas?
OMC! What a cute creature! We hope it didn’t try to swallow you, Loulou. 😉
I’m a pretty big mouthful for that little guy/gal/it.
This cat has HUGE eyes that make her look like she’s wearing glasses.
Wait a minute — what cat?
Soooooo cute – Mama has watched this at least 3 times!! That cutie is TOOOO adorable and beautiful! Hope they can be saved from extinction – the oceans have become a dumping ground and humans are destroying the planet. Uh oh, Mama on a roll again…..BUT maybe if everyone saw this video, people would be more ecologically conscious. TOOOO cute.
So adorable and THANK YOUR MAMAN FOR SENDING IT TO US!!! Mama put that in the blog this morn and sorry we forgot to acknowledge!
That is some strange one but really interesting to watch!
I love the smiles.
Never heard of them. They are cute, though. Not sure you should play with one, though.
Maybe just not get near the mouth!
I like your tail just as it is 🙂
Oh, thank heaven. Me, too.
What a neat video 1 i knew of these creatures but this is the longest film I’ve ever seen about them ! On one of the shows about veterinarians on Nat Geo Wild, someone ha one as a pet and it was acting listless so she brought it to the vet to be treated. It turned out to be ok.
They are terminally cute! Wish they could talk.
We think they are adorable, too. So sad to hear they, like many plants and animals, are endangered.
I know, but there is a movement to save them and perhaps it will work.
