LIE FLAT LIKE THIS, PAPA.
Well, that’s pronounced park so I though I’d be okay with using it…especially since we are OUT of the Clinique du Parc tomorrow, YAY!!!
I say “we” but it’s the royal we, whatever that means. Mama and papa are headed home tomorrow and I will be right and ready to become Nurse Loulou and make sure papa’s head and feet are warm and his back, FLAT and straight, exactly how I sleep sometimes, so he can learn a few things from me, for sure.
It’s so good to have all of this behind (well, duh, where is the back anyway?) us and be able to move forward into a pain-free autumn and nice walks through the glorious russet and gold leaves and stroll down to the sea and watch the boats and especially be able to amble through the streets of Rome where we go for the holidays to see papa’s kids and grandkids!
Papa hasn’t walked very far at all for over three months, so this is a new beginning.
Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts for my papa, and mama, papa and I send many hugs out to you with hopes that your backs are strong and that you walk easily into a lovely … uh, oh …
FALL! Forget I said that. Let’s call it autumn and get on with it…
DO NOT sleep like this, papa, okay?
Your papa is lucky to have a nurse Nightingale Loulou by his side as he recoups. He couldn’t ask for anything better than that. Purrs and hugs.
Uh,oh. Does that mean I have to warble all night long, whatever warble means!
We know you’ll take great care of your papa, Nurse Loulou. 🙂
Well, I’m not sure where to put the thermometer…is it like kitties? Un, oh, papa’s glaring at me.
What a lovely picture of you in a rather awkward position, Loulou.
I have been out of touch for quite some time and I wonder… haven’t you put on weight in the meantime ? 🤔🤔🤔
My best wishes for your Papa’s recovery.
ARGGGGGH, Ralphe you know better than to let mama know I look a bit..er…rounder!!!! Now I’m in for it. Nice to have your back. I mean you back.
Yippee!! We are all so glad for this wonderful outcome!!! And YOU will be the Chief Nurse with all your moves and cuddles. Well, you AND Mama – and I hear the food is not so grand in hospitals, so they will BOTH be glad to get home and get back to normal. I’ll drink to that! Margaritas tonight?
Well, yes, for ONE of them. Papa isn’t having anything yet to interfere with his meds. But a nurse is coming to stick him in a few minutes. He’ll have to do a bit of recovery until the limes are squeezed…
Yes, please call it autumn. We have a special fear of the word fall around here. Not that Jan falls. She takes flight and crashes. But, still …
Maybe fall is better than flight and crashes!! How about tripping over the light fantastic.
I know you sure will be happy to see them both! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Oh, am I happy or WHAT?
Good news all around LouLou !
