SHUT THOSE SHUTTERS, MAMA. Too much grey today!
Boy, do we have the winter washout here in our little village. Talk about shades of grey!
But mama has ranunculas (whatever they are) in a vase and they have opened up like little sunshines to brighten our morning. That and the tomatoes STILL hanging on the vine in 5-degree weather!
We hope that everyone out there is warm and getting better, if ill, and that the still-darkening days of December will not send anyone over the edge, haha. Only FOUR more days until the mornings are a bit earlier and Mr Sun can start up his engine for the brighter days ahead!
How lucky for us kitties that we do not give one hoot about any of this, haha. Whatever a hoot is.
I’m climbing the walls to have spring arrive…
You are such a cutie. I love winter. xO
Oh, I wish we could feel the same. But a fireplace helps a lot. I sit with THEM and feel toasty.
Maybe Hooterville is what that means Loulou!
Wait a minute…hooter-anything means only one thing to me…and it’s not to do with owls.
Well Loulou it is 6PM here and it’s 35 degrees. EEEEK. I could have handled the cold but I hate the freezing cold wind. So does my Mom who usually is my “chaperone” when I’m outside. We will get some snow by the end of this week so I guess we MIGHT have a white Christmas!!!!
Love, Teddy
Well, I’m glad you have a chaperone in that freezing weather. And have you been in a plane, Teds?
No I prefer to go no higher than the tippity top of my cat tree – I’ll leave exploring the sky to my Dad!!
Hugs, Teddy
I understand that PERFECTLY. Mama thought to take me on a plane to Rome but changed her mind.
we see yoo iz smoking your nip cee-gar!!!!!
Ha ha, I’m trying to quit, but….
Climbing the walls near a heater vent we hope LouLou !
Even at five degrees (C?) you are about 15 degrees (F) warmer than we are. “We are nearer to Spring than we were in September” as our huMom keeps reminding herself.
Oh, thank you huMom for keeping us informed. Wow, 15 degrees warmer? BRRRR….
Loulou, stay warm and cozy!
We have light snow, grey skies, and it’s rather cold too,
Some of us wish we could close our eyes, and only open them again when it’s Spring again.
Oh, I thought I read “cross our eyes”, haha and we don’t want THAT! Yes, abrakadabra and bammo, SPRING. But we have to face January and February now…..bon chance.
