Unimaginable…
Today I only wish to say how sad we are for the disasters that have occurred this week in Chile and Nepal, and all of us in this house send hopes that the Chileans and the Nepalese will recover from these horrendous acts of nature. One also wonders when these things happen just where they come from?
There seem to be more natural disasters than there used to be, or perhaps it only seems that way because this time they come so close together.
As the Earth Day website cited, however, we are in better shape on this planet than we have ever been. In case you have not seen the site, here it is.
But in times of terrible disasters, I just wish I could do something to help all those people whose lives have been destroyed so suddenly. And now Argentina is suffering as well from an ash fallout.
Let’s hope that both countries get back to normal as soon as possible. A kitty can’t do much about world disasters, alas. I but I can try to keep things here at home in order. Mama’s cough is better so maybe now she can help me write my blogs a little better than when she was flat on her back!
I don’t know…SOME kitties can do a lot of things flat on their backs!
Like sleep. Just ignore that tongue thing…it happens sometimes.
Love those clenched hocks Loulou.
Nepal was in a right old mess before the quake, it has so many awful problems already, hard to see how it will recover.

Papa just told me that in Haiti, 120,000 were killed in the last quake. I had no idea or forgot but lordy, ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND? Yes, Nepal is a very poor country and so beautiful. What a shame. Bad leaders. Hence bad conditions for survival.
