See that guy in the corner. He is REALLY going to miss me without having me to keep him warm at night.
See this? Guess what IT is?
Well, not exactly the wizard, but THEY are going to be off to see mama’s 100-year-old (well, in November) auntie and then papa’s sister and then mama’s sis-in-law and her musical partner so I guess you could call it a family affair.
No wizards that I know of. But wait! Every family has a wizard of some sort, right? I think most are kitty-wizards, since we know how to transform one thing into another without anyone knowing how we did it (the curtains, for example, or a screen door, or a package of goodies hidden away), and we also know how to click our paws together and say, “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home.”
Hey, piece o’ cake.
BUT…I digress. THEY are off to see whatever wizards they find and LEAVE ME WITH Miss Kitty Whisperer, whom I ADORE–YOU HEAR THAT, YOU PEOPLE. I ADORE HER AND SHE PLAYS WITH ME AND GIVES ME TREATS AND CARESSES AND LET’S ME STAY OUT LATE!!!
Maybe I’ll just have to hang out with my friend in the garden. He comes every year and lives in the rosemary and he is a good spider who eats mosquitoes and things bad for the plants. Isn’t he beautiful?
Still…I’m a little bit lonesome already. But that’s nothing. You should see mama…now THAT’S lonesome.
She doesn’t want to stop snuggling me. She’s telling me this, but I’m taking it with a grain of salt.
If she really wanted to BE here, she WOULD. No, that’s not really how it works sometimes, but I wish it did.
Hey LouLou,
I think a great name for your mate in the garden would be”FluffyBum”
Grandmama Ros
FLUFFY BUM IS WONDERFUL!!! Leave it to you, Granmama, to think up the best.
I am sure Miss Kitty Whisperer will look after you very well, and your mama and papa will miss you very much. They are going to Maui? My mum is very envious!
Well, they’d love to take her with them, but they wouldn’t like all the airplane travel, I’ll bet. Mama doesn’t. Still, it’s for family things…so they want to go when they can but they only stay three nights. So it goes.
Sure hope your humans are planning not to be gone too long. Very happy you like your kitty sitter. Sure cute photo of you, as always! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
LOVE MY KITTY SITTER. Mama, did you HEAR THAT?
Wow,your Mama has a 99 yr. old aunt, that is amazing. I hope they have a safe trip and I know you will be well cared for. There is a pretty spider, I love spiders.
Mama does, too, and this one comes every year to clear out the garden of pests. A friend came to photograph him. What shall we name him? Any ideas?
We hope your momma has a wonderful trip.
You will be okay…
And before you know it she’ll be back with lots of squeezes and kisses!
Noodle and crew
Oh, I hope so. I just hope she comes back with good news about Trump disappearing into parts unknown.
We’ll leave the spider to you. Jan shrieks when she sees one. Maybe we should borrow yours.
We wish your mom and dad a safe and fun trip and you lots of spoiling by the cat whisperer you adore.
Oh, I would never let the spider get NEAR Jan. But he’s happy in his own little webworld, haha.
Oh LouLou, it should fur sure work dat way. We wish ya’ll could be together always, whether you go with them or they stay home. We don’t know what we’d do ifin mommy wasn’t always here with us. You know none of us have ever wpent a night alone without each other. Well, least since we started livin’ together. As fur your spider furiends…me wouldn’t call him purretty dat’s fur sure. (shivers) We don’t like spiders, good, bad or otherwise. Mommy thinks they’re all bad. And we think they all look scary enuff to be bad. MOL Ya’ll take care and we’re sendin’ everypawdy hugs.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I’m going to try to talk to this one because he eats all the baddies in our garden and leaves all the goodies, plus he stays HOME or out of sight and is very polite. But I understand spider fear…lots of people have it and it’s quite normal. And yes, we spend so much time together. These trips are just a little blip each year. I go with them on other trips.
Well.My Dear LouLou,
I have been begging your Mama and Papa to bring you when they visit Papa’s sister, but NO. I think they think that maybe we have fleas? That’s the only reason I can think of .. who wouldn’t want to come to Maui??
Your Grandmama Ros
OH, granmama Ros, I’m SURE you don’t have fleas from what mama says about you and Gramps. I’m sure he loves that name, no, haha? I’ll send you a postcard while mama it there and she can read it to you as it’s in kitty speak. LOVE, LOULOU
