OOPS and oy, vay. Missed Dr. Seuss Day!
Now what do we do, dear little Loulou?
Mama, you’re supposed know
that we should keep up our show
and of all people, HIM
fun of frolic and whim,
so I guess chocolate mousse
to honor our Seuss!
Oh, Loulou, you are so full of good ideas…I’ll melt the chocolate right away.
WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, MAMA? I CAN’T HAVE CHOCOLATE!
Well, I mean, a tiny lick won’t hurt, right? In honor of Dr. S?
I can’t believe we missed Dr. Seuss’s birthday!
Thanks for the reminder.
Have a great weekend…
Noodle and crew
Hey, don’t feel alone.
No chocolate for you but I loved your poem!!
Thank you, Caren!
Chocolate? – you’ll get no kick from a lick
catnip in a ball doesn’t thrill me at all
But tell me why oh me oh my
We all get a kick out of you, Loulou.
Some get a kick from champagne (did Dr Seuss say that!!??)
Mere alcohol doesn’t thrill me at all (it’s never offered – to ME)
So tell me why it’s absolutely true
That I get a kick out of YOU, soul sista Loulou!!
Oh, how I love those songs! And you are a great lyricist, MYA. How about YOU make me feel so young, Mya!
Frankie Furter posted today too. it’s just a belated happy birthday to the Dr Dr. Seuss would be proud of your rhyme.
Hope your mom didn’t let you taste the chocolate. It’s addictive. According to Jan. We’ve never had any.
Mama never gives me chocolate unless you can count that tiny bit that rubbed off on papa’s plate when he eats a Magnum. It’s about half a lick. But papa thinks my nip is addictive…
No problem, My Dear Loulou,
Grandma Ros will eat your portion – as a special gift from me to you!
Oh, Grandma Ros, you know how to help out a girl! If I could ever visit, I would!
Better late than never, great poem for Dr. Seuss. Please don’t mention chocolate, I gave it up for Lent and I am already craving it.
Mama gave up wine for Lent once (long ago). One glass instead of four–haha just kidding. But she used to give up stuff and then the money saved went to the church. She doesn’t do that now.
What an adorable foto LouLou. Have a pawsum weekend. Big hugs
Luv ya’

I do have pawsum days when I hear from you, Dezi!
Humans eat all the good stuff and refuse to share! Hmph. I don’t think the Cat in the Hat would approve!
Well, certainly not! But last night mama put what looked like a BONE on a newspaper and I had at it. I don’t usually get bones because of my tiny teeth, but I did manage to strip it and I think my teeth are stronger for it. Hmmm, maybe we’re onto something here.
