Now where did I leave my tooth crackers?
Well, it’s that time again and I am really going to try not to throw up on mama or anywhere in the cabin on our trip back to my garden and familiar territory. These holiday trips take a lot out of me, that’s for sure, and I’m pushing five!
Still, to be with the family was really nice, even if I was NOT invited to the actual Christmas Eve bash, but I don’t mind hearing about it from mama and papa.
As you saw, those kids DID come over here just to see me and practically suffocated me with snuggles and hugs and caresses and kisses and all of them made goo-goo and ohhhhh and ahhhh sounds, which I put up with, but really, folks, just say what you have to say, okay? No baby talk for this kitty.
Next year I’m going to order a full-body protective plastic suit just to be prepared for their visit. I had to bathe all day to get the wrinkles out of my tux!
Still, affection is what all of us need more of and so I send you great affection, everyone out there on our amazing planet, and I hope so much that your holidays are fulfilling and joyful up to now and get even better.
I’m off to pack my kibble and kitty litter.
I travel light…
Well, I’m done packing, but barely hanging in there…
Have a good trip, Loulou! And Happy New Year!
Well, there were NO waves so it was a GREAT trip! But no food until I arrived and then a rewarding little dinner. I guess I am a trooper after all.
Thank you and thank you for your card—just lovely finding actual MAIL on my office table when I finally got out of that box they put me in to travel. You are really nice friends.
So you’re going home? Ah, we thought you were going away somewhere again. We have a hard time keeping track of you and your folks.
Well, home is sort of several places, which I know is confusing. Especially to ME but I am getting along fine on this jaunt because there were NO WAVES!
Well, home is sort of around….
We all here send you at the Farm our love and hugs for a great new year and hopes for Sam….
