Listen, for mama to show her feet is a BIG thing, but this was too much fun to resist, so papa snapped this shot.
Well, this was NOT my idea, but mama thought it was really funny and I got to chase the ear plugs around the room whenever they popped out, which was not often enough for me, but still…
I asked mama to do my nails, too, but she was worried that the manner in which I clean my paws might mean that I lick off most of the color and that’s not a good thing. Not at ALL, and so I had to stay un-primped and underdressed for my homecoming.
I mean, their homecoming.
But mama had nice toes to show me and so I was placated. Whatever that means.
I’m going to sneak into her colors and paint my OWN nails one day. Then she’ll see what’s what.
Uh, oh, I can’t REACH my toes to paint them!
And I don’t even want to think about what she’s going to do when she sees THIS…

Good vibrations for Zoey and may her beautiful blue eyes get really well!

We’re guessing your mom wears a lot of open toe shoes. At this time of year they are everywhere.
Well, when it’s 80-90 degrees in summer, yes, she tends to do naked feet.
Cool colors your Mama chose and very clever to use the ear plugs. There are nail caps in pretty colors for kitties.
Are you kidding? I’ve never heard of such a thing. Don’t they want to eat them? Will go look but I think I’ll stay neutral grey/white.
Ha! What a great idea! We don’t paint our toes…but the mom does!
Well, mama hates those other weird-looking things that look like sponge brass knuckles, whatever they are, and she says they are painful.
MOL ! Mum loves the idea of earplugs between the toes ! The rainbow nails of your mom look very festive ! Purrs
Well, she has been doing that to her toes for about…oh…30 years or so. And she mostly does it for the grandkids or kids in general who really love it. But now everyone does it and so it’s not as original, but she still does it anyway. She used to do equal colors on both feet but now one may be orange and on may be green and so on. You never know.
