Free, at last! And there was no Room Service!
Well, I am NOT going to bore you with mama’s “opportunity”, which a contractor friend of hers called ”problem”….
Her change from PC to Mac with Adobe Organizer is sheer hell.
That’s all I will say, as we are talking about the organization of THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND PICS and all of the Keywords appear to be all over the map and when one clicks on a Keyword the file is EMPTY.
(Deep breath, mama)
Instead, let’s talk about the beauty of Rome and the lovely golden light of October and the gazillion tourists and the warm, warm weather, and no rain in sight and the grilled porcini mushrooms and the perfectly cut tagliatelle made by the woman who owns a trattoria just under our apartment.
And the open market, with such amazing treasures—papayas, mangos, pineapples, persimmons, you name it.
And let’s just for a moment talk about the fact that I am still under the influence, I think, of Beaphar valerian drops that actually did smooth me out for this trip. We are not getting paid for this—-those drops simply work very well. And are herbal, not strong medicine!
So, now in my Italian mode, ci sentiamo presto…
We shall meet again, soon. I’m just happy I made it without mishap, whatever that is. And, as you can see, I’m pretty spaced out…
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaw You look so adorable LouLou. We’re glad you made it okay. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Well, only two throw-ups and a cower-in-the-closet and I was fine.
You’ve convinced the mom to not get a Mac. Hope you have a fun trip.
NO, NO, MAMA LOVES HER MAC!!!! She solved the problem in half the time it would have taken on a PC. It is a MARVELOUS tool. Just tell your mama to try one. She’ll never go back….It is just formidable at first but what isn’t? She is STOKED to use a long-ago word. DO try one. It’s another world. And mama has worked on a PC for YEARS. Segued right into the MAC, just didn’t know how to work the pics part.
I’m glad the drops helped you. Looks like you had a great sleep. Maybe our human should try some so she can sleep well too.
Love Laser & McLaren
Boy, does mama need Beaphar, especially on ships, with ME.
I am glad the drops helped you. I sent you an email about my awful movies 🙂 XO
Yes, well, mama is keeping those drops handy for the next ordeal!
Oh, dear, sounds like a headache. Jan is glad she hasn’t tried to switch to a MAC. Guess MAC doesn’t wash … we mean Mac doesn’t read Windows. We’re glad your mama can find things to be cheerful about. Food always makes us cheerful too. You relax and enjoy the rest.
It’s so beautiful here, not hard to find good things to lift one’s spirits.
Oooooh – that’s all too complicated for me!! Mama said she would just put all the photos in files and put the files on a usb key (or several!). But my mama doesn’t do complicated because it makes her nuts. Moi? Just give me toys to chase and kibbles ti eat, so I’m no help. But we will send good and positive vibes for the mac transition!!
Oh that PC to Mac is a real challenge, they don’t play nice together. Hey, I never heard of valerian drops, I’ve had valerian root powder so I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
So all MAC experts are welcome at our house right now!
Yes, LouLou. Canada has just legalized recreational marijuana.
Hey, to know about that in time to face a a SHIP! Mabe next voyage…smooth sailing.
