Loulou, you know those donks will never replace YOU!
Well, I’m talking about the donks who now are residing just across the street, called the Coma Cheric (a run-off rue over the large drains that take water from rains and snow and so on from our little village and empty it into the sea). And I’m thinking, “Where did Pin the Tail on the Donkey come from?” And wouldn’t that donkey be a bit irritated?
Mama LOVES these donks and when they walk down our street, they stop at our house and look for mama (only because she has fed them apples and carrots for years!). They are also adorable in winter with their heavy fur and little wet noses and lips that never bite but only nibble at the hand that offers the fruits and veggies. Little velvet lips.
Because THESE donks would no more let you pin a tail on them than fly to donkey moon! And there’s a mule in there, too, bringing up the rear, so to speak. That’s Pompinette and NO ONE would want to be behind HER doing ANYTHING!
But they are awfully cute, no? Even I can see that.
I think.
Loulou, we KNOW what you’re thinking…
awwww, they ARE so cute!!!! But I’ll bet they already have tails, non? Actually if I were the donk, I would prefer super-glue to pins. Mama is ooohing and ahhhhing and is fantasizing about feeding them apples and carrottes. I am imagining one pulling me along the Promenade in my poussette like Queen Victoria used to have when she came to Nice …… but NO the donks will never replace YOU! They’re much too big to snuggle under the duvet.
ARFGGGG…don’t let mama think she can MAYBE snuggle a donkey under the duvet..SHE’LL DO IT! That queenie had the right idea…just the wrong passenger, haha.
They are cute 🙂
Their little noses are the best.
How cool is that ! You have donkeys as neighbors!! I have donkeys as neighbors too but not the 4-legged kind MOL!!
HAHA We have one of those, too. But he has settled out a bit since he showed his ears…
