Hey, some of US have little cute pink paws, too, mama. We just found out they are called jellybeans!
Well, here is another awwww…an Australian pygmy possum.
Mama is going batty over those whiskers….she falls in love so easily with whiskers and tiny paws, haha.
Oh, and pink noses…
Do I have to worry? But mama, he/she will grow UP and be hanging upside down from the lemon tree, right?
Actually, I think they love living in the wild, and this one was saved, thank heaven, from the terrible recent fires in Australia.
So many animals were not so lucky, but then, so many were, too, searched for and saved by organizations who really got to work immediately to rescue koalas, possum, and more. So wonderful what anthros will organize in a disaster to save wildlife. And lives.
Mama says our doctors and nurses and hospital staff are the ones who should be lauded right now, as many are on the verge of collapse, and many, when interviewed, are in tears.
Oh, for this to be over. And thanks to Ann Adamus for our card this year 🎄
Those doctors, nurses and rescuers deserve many virtual hugs and support for their ongoing work, selflessness, and committment. Purr purr purr.
You are so right! They are real heroes and heroines.
What cute jellybeans you have, Loulou. We’ve never seen a pigmy possum before…only the regular kind. 😉
Well, we didn’t know I HAD jellybeans, haha. Thank you.
Beautiful card by Miss Ann for you Loulou! You absolutely do have cute toesies – my Mom likes my “pinkies” too!! We hope that the new year brings HEALING and a return to HEALTH for the world. We are now vaccinating our frontline health workers and those in nursing homes…..by late spring or summer everyone here will have a chance to wave farewell to this hideous virus. We are hoping for a VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hugs to you dear Loulou…………
Love, Teddy
Oh, Teddy, I hope you are right in all of this, and that we do not have to worry about the anti-vaccine people who could cause that they 5% of whomever to possible be infected. But I think they will change their minds if they lose loved ones….
And you must have a brilliant New Year, too, and a lovely holiday with your family all around and eat some good kibble! I asked for bubbly but mama just glared at me….
I’m so sorry to hear about Gustave, Loulou. Lots of love to his family. That possum is SO cute. I hope that you and your beautiful family have a wonderful Xmas.
And you, too, in SA, with all the wonders of that part of the world. I wrote ‘art’ by mistake instead of part so I think that ‘art’ of the world is applicable! Joyeux noel….
Awwww – I have never seen a pigmy possum!!!! TOOOOOO cute! And love the card – is that you Loulou? And we owe so many thanks to the medical staff who work tirelessly and put themselves in danger for our health. And the vets. They are courageous TOO!!! We owe so many thanks to so many.
Yes, that is my photo with the amazing Ann Adamus as graphic artist who put it together for us. I was feeling…well…exhausted by all of this and therefore, the “exhausted” photo. But hope is on the horizon. We are not sure that the world realizes how affected the staff at hospitals are as they treat so many. Nurses and doctors, some, at least, are scarred for life with what they have seen….
That is very cute, but not as cute as you. I agree with your Mama, there are a lot of heroes out there doing their part in this pandemic. XO
Boy, are there ever! And so tireless and sacrificing their own health for so many others.
When will France be getting some vaccine ? The rollout and shots began in the US today – We are purraying for everyone.
Yesterday you mentioned Mya’s friend Gustave losing his battle to cancer – is that the Gus who almost lost his eye a month ago ? Purrayers to his owners and all who loved him too.
Yes it is the same kitty and he was very little which I didn’t Know, and Anne has done a portrait of him for his mama and papa. Too many kitties gone…
You do have cute toebeans Loulou and your card is beautiful!
Well, merci for the toebean tickle, and it is Ann Adamus who did the nice card around
Loulou’s photo.
