So here we go.
These are only a few of mama’s and papas kitties over the years…uh…lots of years.
All beloved, each one a character, leaving sweet memories behind.
Drywall…found mewing and hungry at a building site.
Fiat…found at the Fiat car agency in Santa Barbara, no mama, so you know the rest…
Stella, found calling outside in the rain while mama was inside drawing a little black kitty illustration for a book! And there she was, REAL.
Daniel and Sweetie, best friends their whole lives.
Hooker, found literally in a gutter, and went off into woods later never to return…
Sushi, brought to mama and papa by a friend who couldn’t keep her. They did for 14 years. One of mama’s big regrets, not being with her when they vet put her over the bridge and out of pain.
Luna, with papa’s daughter many years ago, found on Mulholland Drive at the full moon. Mama opened the door to her (then) pick-up and in she leapt! Mama put up “Found kitty” signs all along Mulholland and the next day papa took all of them down…he was in love.
And now there is Loulou (that’s me) thank heaven, who wandered into a strange garden after living on the streets and there was a dish of food but I was frightened. Still, I ate it and ran. Then mama put the food closer to the kitchen door and I sneaked up on it and ate the food and ran. Then mama put the food inside the door and I ate it on the third day, and STAYED.
What a beautiful tribute. Looks like each kitty knew that your momma was near💗Soft Pawkisses as you remember your sweet Angels🐾😽💞
Oh, in a way, I wish we were all together here now!
Ooh la la. Such a great clowder of pussycats. My mom had 3 kitties in the years before I came into the picture. Purr purr purr.
Well, mama is …uh…a bit older than you, I think, and so had more time for kitties…..
Thank you for sharing all those wonderful Angels. Funny how so many come into our lives by such circumstance to stay and give love so deeply
Yes, the discovery is always so interesting and they come when the spirit calls them.
So much kitty love, Loulou! What a wonderful mama and papa you have, to create a home for so many magical felines.
Well they started in Santa Barbara and then progressed to Los Angeles and then to France so there’s a lot of water under the bridge with these kitties but I am amazed at 15 and meowing and the numerous kitties that kind lady has taken in over her lifetime!
What beautiful angels! Thank you for sharing them with us.
What glorious stories of kitties of the past AND of you lucky Loulou to have found your “forever” right there! We miss our Angels – we have them in our hearts.
Love, Teddy
In our hearts is a good place for angels to be. Gives the heart strength!!
Our kitties are such blessings! I’m glad to get to know your angel cats and how they came into your life.
Oh, thank you, we are so touched by so many kitties remembered yesterday. Our lives are so much richer with loving anthros in them! And we kitties try to be as loving as possible.
Well, we love your kitties, that’s for sure.
Oops – mama sent a message but internet not working about the 2 wonderful cats she had- Taaka and Sassy (sometimes called asassin) They were wonderful and fun-loving and lived long and happy lives – and part of Sassy’s life was in France since she came over with Mom and the dogs. She misses all of the wonderful pets.
Oh, that Sassy. I think mama knew your very old doggy but not Sassy. What a loss, such a mensch!
Beautiful tribute to all the angels that came before you. XO
Well, mama was from early on a future angel gatherer.
Oh my, so much love over the years. How wonderful these precious babies found their way to you. Warm purrs from Deb and Mr. Jazz of Purr Prints of the Heart.
Thank you, and isn’t it wonderful how our beloved animals appear, just at the right time?
What wonderful memories ! We are honored to meet The Kitties Who Came Before !
Well, I wish we could meet all of everyone’s angels. Thank you for reading….
Such beautiful kitties, each and every one … Loulou, how good that you stayed … now: stay on and on and on, please.
Oh, I’m definitely going to try to stay here on and on an on, you can bet on your kibble!
Such sweetie Angels all and we send hugs as you remember them each and every day.
I think mama might do a little collage for us out of those pics…maybe to decorate my little area, haha.
Beautiful fur kids. It’s wonderful when we reach the point where the memories make us smile.
Oh, yes, because when memories are fresh, they are often so, so sad…..
